So how is it that this part of the scenario will be "fair" to the Chinese? If anything the mods should theotetically flip a coin, think of it as triggers, with a possibility of 70% no war and 30% war.

With fuel like Absolut! Who needs Nucular Power

The only intersting of europeans (and commonwealth) ist to save and evacuate there citizenz. This only could happen by caesefire or armestice.

Thats why the europeans startet the peace plan, including 2 steps:
- the first intention is to evacuat the european citizens
- the next step is to offer a way for peace, if both sides accept it.

The europeans are very confused about the US.
The first political steps and the first shoots was coming out from Taiwan in a very aggresive way .
So America said that they will not help Taiwan if Taiwan declared independence, and the europeans trust that they keep their promise in this case, since an independent Taiwan does not exactly fit America's wish.

The first shoot of PLA to destroy taiwanese airports and streets was a devensive strike (thats why the europeans and commonwealth are concentrate in a evacuation fleet, to be send out from SUBIC BAY).

But this PLA strike seems to turned the americans. The US people were outraged, as much for the images of the burning 747 as the invasion of another free "country" (as Taiwan is often viewed as by the American people). The President of the United States has requested that all forces immediately retire their home soil on either side of the Taiwan Strait and that he was discussing what measures, political and military, could be implemented to stop futher escalation. His last statement hinted that American Forces may come to the defensive aid of the Republic of China. The president has decided, with full the concurrance of Congress, to engage in the defence of Taiwan.

In a Video Conference with numerous allied heads of state, inluding those from Germany, Poland, Japan, France, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdon, India, Austrailia, South Korea, Vietnam, the Phillipines, and Thailand, full aggreement is obtained to demand a complete withdrawal of all forces from the strait at midnight, local time, in approximately 12 hours. While not are all in agreement to pursue military means if necessary, all agree hostilities must end immediately.

In a rare show of unity, the leaders of France, Germany, the UK, and the US will meet in New York at the United Nations to protest the current state of affairs.

In this video conference the europeans offered there peace plan as last way to stop the war.
"End Hostilities - do not allow for escalation"
"A Battle in the Strait serves no one"..

Only one hour after germans chanceller was offering the europeans peace plan by tv (to international public) someone startet a massiv strike against the mainland to torpedoe the plan. This was offensive, and not a defending act.
The europeans ar blamed.:(

Didn't they can't wait a little bit and start the strike after the evacuation?
After that time the europeans ar not involved and could be visitors.

The europeans ar very angry
The small common ground between US and EU could break about that. It will break, when the US realy ar starting offensive in the war.
Also the EU could break about that (remember the Iraq?). There could be a coalition "of the willing", which following the leading US - and "good old europa", which don't want to follow the US everywhere.

We will have a "konstruktives Misstrauensvotum" this evening in german "Bundestag". May be the Bundestag is electing a new chanceller.
_______________
next reports outside:
After pakistans and Myanmars Highway also the Indians open the Koshi-Lhasa Highway linking Nepal's eastern zones with China's Tibet Autonomous Region (see

Not really, the Europeans were just as anti-China and anti-Communist as U.S are. But they also wanted to make money so just Europeans started thinking about ending the embargo. Then, they have a vote and majority of the countries still support embargoing China though it may end soon

Who Dunnit?? None of my ships or aircraft....

Live, Breaking News from the Pentagon....

".... and I want say beyond a shadow of a doubt, as clear as can be clear, no forces in the United States Military or under the employment of the United States has launched any offensive missions against any country, People's Republic of China included. I have completed communications with both senior officials withing the Japanese Self Defense Forces as well as senior officers with the Republic of China, and they have confirmed there has been no military engagement with PRC forces.

Various assets including Satellite, Radar Aircraft, and other intelligence methods do not indicate ANY weapons crossing the Taiwan Strait from the ROC or from any other direction within 200KM Southwest of the ROC north and east to our assets and those of our friends, the South Korean military.

We have not yet acertained the cause of the apparent explosions, nor the severity of the explosions. I have had personal contact with leaders from NATO and the NATO countries as well as our Friends and Partners in the ASEAN alliance to confirm that not only were US forces not behind any escalation or attack, but that we are in fact riggorously investigating this recent incident.

Again, as the President has stated earlier today, altough we are very concerened with the defense of the Free People of Taiwan, Our goal is an immediate and peaceful resolution of this current crisis.

That will be all, breifing material will be available shortly, thank you all for your particpiation..."

Back to the Pentagon Reporter... "Well, as you have seen, the Chariman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff was adamant that US Forces were not involved in any military actions across the strait. He did not allude to or not any in the future but he was clear that American forces did not initiate any actions and that other regional forces, including those of Taiwan, did not continue hostilities.

Live from the Pentagon, I'm Martin Whizzlehead - back to New York..."

There you may see the seats of german "Bundestag"
3607-sitzverteilung2005.jpg
after 2005-election.
SPD (222 Seats) and Conservatives (226 seats) made "great coalition", leaded by Mrs. Merkel, conservative, true friend of USA.
They could be a new coalition by SPD (222 - former chancellor Schroeder is member of this party), "Linke" (socialistic, communistic members - 54) and "green" (51 - former forreign minister "Fischer Joschka" is member of this party) - which in number have 327 Seats, which is more than the half of 614 seats).

The "big coalition" is argue about the reaction in Taiwan war. The conservatives will follow the US everywhere, the social democrats ar not willing to go in war. They remember the old friendship between Schröder and chinese leaders and the good turnover of this friendship (MAGLEV). VW, SIEMENS, Thyssen-Krupp - most of big german concerns mading good deals in China. They will save the business capital in chinese coast provinces.
A lot parlamentarians voting to lift the arm embargo, to send Eurofighters, Tiger Copters and Air Defence weapons to China. "China was attacked, Taiwan did the first shoot".

The pentagon report of Martin Whizzlehead support the position of Chancellor Mrs. Merkel.
A number of 100 SPD-Parlamentarians ar undecided how to vote.
After the pentagon report the parliaments president decide to postponement the votings for tomorrow.
