I think it's also a manifestation of the state of moral decay of the American ruling class; this insightful comment by an american netizen:

This absolutely moral degraded ruling class is also the single biggest impediment to humanity's scientific and technological development by assassinating scientists, sanctioning scientific and tech companies etc. Anglo hegemony is no different to the European Dark Ages in terms of idiocracy and anti scientism.

Let me elaborate further, these are the individuals appointed to the levers of power in Washington:

Words cannot describe my hatred for these creatures, unironically making their inter party smear tactics international. I used to have have doubts over whether the collapse of the Anglo empire would have negative economic consequences for the world , but now I know there creatures have no redeeming qualities and nothing would be too great of cost for their demise.

Japan is born in shamelessness, molded by it, their understanding of the word lies in a realm far beyond your petty mortal comprehension.

They believe apologizing to their victims in good faith is too shameful to bear, but has absolutely no issue giving Curtis Lemay(I'm just going to call him the Cook of Tokyo) The Order of the Rising Sun. They go as far as to delude themselves they didn't lose the war, but merely called it a cease fire and a side switch.

It is no coincidence that the only long term ally that Japan have in its entire history is the one that reduced Japanese cities to atoms, it is no coincidence that the Japan is the only country in the world where incessant physical beatings improves the morale of its soldiers. For other no country in the world is this applicable to, but the only possible way to befriend Japan is to utterly destroy it without mercy.

China's TFR isn't where it is because of "extreme feminism" or beta/gamma/lambda/whatever letter from the Greek alphabet men not "manning up" and getting married. That's a caricature of the problem. Couples are choosing not to have children for completely sensible economic reasons.

I didn't follow the back-and-forth here. Where I came in was when you mocked @eprash for a naïve proposal that was nonetheless in the right direction. A scientific solution doesn't need to entail sci-fi technologies like artificial wombs or technology far from ready for human application like germline gene editing. A practical solution in that spirit with today's technologies would be a program of mass IVF and surrogacy, with gametes gathered from a broad swath of the Chinese population and surrogates drawn from the world's poor. Instead of editing individual embryos with a tool like CRISPR, the donors would be sequenced and AI used to determine optimal combinations. The children resulting from this program would be raised in state-run orphanages and boarding schools.

That's a solution that matches the magnitude of the problem, not Andrew Tate University courses in "masculinity."

You're the one who put them in opposition by saying technology isn't meant to turn having children into the Matrix/Borg Collective. It might come to just that; it might be that for China to become the power it should be, it'll have to turn into that. Them being white may play a role but the main reason they were accepted is the fact they are female.

Though I remember an article posted here that Japanese prostitutes were complaining about the competition and low prices from the newly arrived Ukrainian "refugees".
