See their logic, its better on their bottom line to commercialized it rather than surrendering it to the farmers to produce food. Arguing with increasing population hitting 100 million farming job can't provide enough employment opportunities.

BIG DIFFERENCE, Duterte produced results while Marcos produces projection. Duterte is dealing a serious threat that need a strong approach to save the Republic from becoming a Narco State, while Marcos is having trouble cooking due to Onion shortage.
