it’ll be hilarious if China becomes one of the world top exporters of oil (re-exporters of refined Iranian crude).

whether or not this is astroturfed is irrelevant, the fact that the American public tacitly allows or even supports fascist groups openly on the streets on their national day is a pretty big indicator of possible revolution, not to mention billionaire oligarch pretensions of technate autocracy.

More complains from Jai Hind journalists about Chinese build up along the border.

Why complain? Isn't India a Supapowar? You can't keep up? You guys wanted this fight. You guys didn't want to settle the border. You've got what you wanted.

China will not give up any inch of it's land to British Raj wannabes. They had their chance in 1959 for a land swap, but they had wanted it all. Today they wanna claim Xizang too. Well, then China could also claim lands all they way to the Ganges. If India wants to play this game, then bring it on.

They're not 'complaining', just acknowledging the situation India finds itself in. Actually Vishnu Som said he expected China to be the world's leading military power in 20 years or so.

They ARE complaining. You didn't watch the whole thing. Complaining about China not honoring "border agreements". Complaining about China crossing over the McMahon Line and sitting on "Indian lands". Complaining about China putting constant military pressure on India.

I mean complaining is part of their nature. I would be more concerned if they weren't complaining. Then that means they would be up to something we don't know about.

Today's blame game, according to WSJ - they didn't complain when they were winning:

German industry’s biggest problem is they lost access to cheap Russian energy. It made them uncompetitive. China has caught up in many high end machinery sectors such as TBM, CNC machine, industrial robots, etc.
A trade war with China will mean losing access to the Chinese market and Chinese supply chains.

More sly China bashing by the New Straits Times. Complaining about "foreign" (actually mainland Chinese) brands and people taking over commercial spaces. There's even a short section about Chinese immigration into Singapore.

Foreign business chains coming in and displacing local businesses is a not a new problem. And that is not exclusively a China problem. Every foreign business chain does that. If the Singaporean government wants to intervene, that's their decision to make. What I disagree is the NST is playing a hit piece like this to raise anti-China sentiment and possibly influence the government's decision.

Some random users on Chinese social media talking about how there are a lot of Indians in Singapore is all it takes to trigger them so much huh?

I expected more from Singapore to be fair. Considering how much China bashing they do, they should be able to take a few more punches.
