Thailand’s Constitutional Court removed suspended Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra from office on August 29, 2025, over her handling of the country’s border row with Cambodia. The daughter of controversial billionaire and ex-prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra was suspended in July after her leaked phone call with former Cambodian leader Hun Sen. After the court verdict, Paetongtarn said she accepted the decision, adding that she tried her best for the country.

Called it.

Trying to chum up with the former Cambodian PM by calling him 'uncle' (whose son is also the current PM, btw) while deriding her own generals for 'trying to look cool', only to have said 'uncle' then post the entire phone recording on Facebook of all places, deliberately, mind... is a very rookie, and of course naive, mistake to make in politics.

She just may be done. It's a shame too because following her family's footsteps while avoiding their fates is obviously on everybody's mind, esp. hers, so to be done in by a phone scandal ("Unclegate"?) would be a lame way to go.

You can't think of one because you've been feeding on western propaganda your whole life. The same western propaganda that says the Chinese can't innovate and that they can only steal IP etc.

Botswana, Cabo Verde, Tanzania, Ghana, Rwanda, Namibia, Morocco, Seychelles, Mauritius, Zanzibar (not country but autonomous), etc.

I believe Africablack is correct in this assessment. Most of us have fed on Western propaganda and absorbed chunks of it into our beliefs. It's only when that propaganda targets our own countries that we really start to see it as false. The correct way to proceed in any matter is to be aware of the origins of your opinion. If the West blatantly lies about China, Russia, middleast, etc., how can you be sure it doesn't for any other part of the world? A lot of the propaganda is embedded into the Western culture, into movies, TV shows, video games, etc and is difficult to spot.

And it is the West who've always treated all African countries as one big monolith called Africa. << This is still predominant in Western society, as well as among others misguided by Western propaganda.

You have no clue. How do you extract wealth without development in the first place?

You have to start with transportation networks, farms, and mines. Only later can you do further development.
Colonialists weren't interested in the well being of locals, except to work as vassals for foreign interests. Most development was done with the aim of extraction of resources and bringing it ashore. West African countries and French colonialism (which still hasn't ended) is a good example >> currency manipulation by French keeps said countries poor and their resources cheap.. perpetually. A country that can grow it's own cacao and make it's own chocolate for global export is no good for colonizers.

Posting this because it is on a certain level, it's simply outrageous.

CNA is the Singapore public news agency.

Clearly, this organization has sold out. Who did they sell out to? That is hard to say, lol. Maybe sell out to the global homo movement, who knows.

Two glaring omissions in this report.

1. Is Singapore represented in this parade? Of course it is, the Prime Minister was in China last month, now Deputy Prime Minister along with most of ASEAN in China this month. Not once, no mention at all, in that full 5 minutes of that video story was this fact of Singapore and ASEAN being represented at this military parade in Beijing.

2. When was the last time Singapore was militarily attacked and overrun, and by whom?

What is with this type of whitewashing?

They have sold out, CNA. There is no other explanation. A future of globo homo?

I don't think so!

:oops::D
What is the global homo movement?

CNA does have quite a pro-Japan tilt. They made a few documentaries a couple of years ago, glorifying Japan. Glorifying it's culture, it's economic prowess, it's diplomatic prowess, and hailing its eventual comeback to dominate FDI in ASEAN, etc. So perhaps that's our clue as to whom they were sold out to.

This is bad news. The international trade barriers erected by the United States are growing ever higher and longer.
I don't see this as bad news. If Mexico imposed tariffs on Chinese imports, it's gonna drive up production costs for their exports to the US. Which means bigger inflation in the US market. Which means more stagflation pressure.

Could Mexico find alternatives to the Chinese imports? Especially on automotive parts, and plastics. Maybe they could, but it's still gonna cost them more than importing from China without tariffs. So however this thing goes, its just gonna drive prices up for Mexican exports into the US.
