It's essentially a Pinoy PR victory online
If only that means something in real life?
Things like this are bound to happen in these situations
Pretty sure the CCG and PLAN will learn from it

the Philippines will try it again, let’s see how aggressive the Chinese react now. I suspect they may dial up the pressure. They will continue to hold their territory. Main focus is Taiwan

Philippines is just a distraction instigated by the US.

China is probably full throttle preparing to fight the US, Japan, Philippines, maybe Korea and India.

Thought that impeachment effort against her was over because it failed.

That's politics right? Once it loses, it tends to not come back.
There is an intense propaganda effort to impeached her, most of the news articles and news report in the media are lobbying the Supreme Court to reversed the ruling, to those who want to know, most media and news outlets here are controlled by the Oligarch, so they control the discussion and narratives, with Marcos unpopularity, there is an unholy alliance between the Marcos regime and the Oligarchy elite to stymied her from assuming the presidency, remember the Marcoses are part of the oligarchs, even though they hated the Family their common interest align thus the slogan " Never again the Duterte's"

Thanks for the update brother ansy1968, much appreciated it.

The Philippines had Duterte and the Americans had Trump. It is good that the Philippines had a real man running things, although Deturte did once suggest he had a homosexual experience, but that should be him joking.

At least I believe that he was joking, believe that with all my heart!

As of right now, Duterte, hero to the masses, is sitting in a white jail cell in another country. Instead of supporting him, some people in the Philippines go after his daughter.

That is hard to believe!

So I have to expect Duterte's daughter Sara to win in a landslide.

That I would love to see. That Sara Duterte makes a state visit to China, and with President Xi Jinping review the honour like a man like her father.

Marcos Jr is the biggest weasel in politics since ... I cannot remember anyone this bad, other than the current European leadership.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry then said through a spokesperson that “‘geographic location’ and a ‘large volume of Filipinos’ in Taiwan should not be used as pretexts to interfere in the internal and sovereign affairs of other countries” and urged the Philippines “to earnestly abide by the One China principle” and “refrain from playing fire on issues bearing on China’s core interests.”

Asked to comment on China’s protest, Marcos said he was perplexed and could not understand Beijing’s concern.

“I don’t know what they’re talking about, playing with fire? I was just stating facts. We do not want to go to war, but I think if there is a war over Taiwan, we will be drawn, we will be pulled in whether we like it or not, kicking and screaming,” Marcos said. “We will be drawn and dragged into that mess. I hope it doesn’t happen, but, if it does, we have to plan for it already.”
Is Marcos talking about US forcing them to go to war lmao?

I'm thinking of it in the long term, more in the vein of 2100 or 2150, that kind of thing. There's always going to be some value in human capital, and as long as India can properly modernize, it should be able to get there. India may not ever become a superpower, but it almost certainly will become a great power, and being on good terms with great powers is highly beneficial.
India might not even exist by 2100. 100 years is a timeframe in which many countries have ceased to exist or broken off existing ones. India has major separatist movements and it's current federation is somewhat unstable.

Take it from the POV of the Chinese, can the Philippines sustained this kind of operation with its limited resources.
If am being honest, I would prefer China to blast one of the Philippines PCG or hype boat into dust because some of your folks are just being too mayabang and ulol with their snickering after what happened between 2 Chinese vessels colliding chasing a PCG ship away.
