The Philippines had Duterte and the Americans had Trump. It is good that the Philippines had a real man running things, although Deturte did once suggest he had a homosexual experience, but that should be him joking.

At least I believe that he was joking, believe that with all my heart!

As of right now, Duterte, hero to the masses, is sitting in a white jail cell in another country. Instead of supporting him, some people in the Philippines go after his daughter.

That is hard to believe!

So I have to expect Duterte's daughter Sara to win in a landslide.

That I would love to see. That Sara Duterte makes a state visit to China, and with President Xi Jinping review the honour like a man like her father.

I'm thinking of it in the long term, more in the vein of 2100 or 2150, that kind of thing. There's always going to be some value in human capital, and as long as India can properly modernize, it should be able to get there. India may not ever become a superpower, but it almost certainly will become a great power, and being on good terms with great powers is highly beneficial.

India might not even exist by 2100. 100 years is a timeframe in which many countries have ceased to exist or broken off existing ones. India has major separatist movements and it's current federation is somewhat unstable.

Take it from the POV of the Chinese, can the Philippines sustained this kind of operation with its limited resources.

If am being honest, I would prefer China to blast one of the Philippines PCG or hype boat into dust because some of your folks are just being too mayabang and ulol with their snickering after what happened between 2 Chinese vessels colliding chasing a PCG ship away.

I knew that some Pinoys would insert the "Chinese have small eyes" remark hence the accident occured. But the thing with small countries with large mouthe like the PH if the accident had occurred between a Chinese ship and the Philippines ship the narrative would have been about the big bad Chinese Commie being the expansionist bully with the Philippine is it's the first victim of many. Which means that the PR situation has an inevitable narrative that'll always be anti-China regardless of outcome due to the inherent size and massive power differential between these 2 countries.

Which is why in my view, China should have just blasted off the PCG ship with a live fire warning shot from the Type 056 destroyer to send the unequivocal message to would be belligerence ultimate master of the PHILIPPINES which is the U.S. if your minions want to play stupid games they will have their stupid prizes. It's only a matter of choice which prize would they prefer: ramming or shooting.
