You know, China Observer once put out a video about how China has so many robo-taxis it's putting taxi drivers out of work, which in turn means China is collapsing of course. But if you search around you'll find that video is probably the most viewed video on China's autonomous vehicles on YouTube, if you strip away the forced conclusion it's perhaps the most successful propaganda piece on how advanced China's self driving tech is.
I've also noticed a number of travel YouTubers put dystopian thumbnails on their China videos, just for the actual video to be very positive on everything, which means they know and are gaming an algorithm designed to promote anti-China propaganda.
So it really makes you wonder if there might be some truth to the meme that FLG was created by China as controlled opposition.
