India is not a good player, nor does it possess good character. If roles were reversed between India and China do you think India would have shown as much restraint as China during the last 70 years?

India is using Balochi terrorists to attack CPEC projects in Pakistan, when has China resorted to such actions against India?
India is confiscating the assets and earnings of Chinese companies operating in India, when has China done the same to India?

Today's India already seeks the breakup of China; what do you think a stronger India would do?
Look at the treatment of women, minorities, lower castes, the natural environment, etc. in today's India and you will get an idea of what a stronger india would look like - a rapist, slave owning superpower causing untold misery, destruction and degradation to all it touches.

After seeing that Amazon AI (actually indians) store get exposed I wonder how much of this AI is just overhype to con investors. I guess time will tell if AI is just another meme like big data or Blockchain.

This is weird because SWA flight 2786 no longer flies to Hawaii. Is this normal to have flights no be assigned to new routes. If in fact a minor human error, why make changes to flights in such a short period of time? Why reuse the flight number to Austin to Indianapolis? Very strange.

If an AGI of any significant use in any sector could be so easily designed, China would have been there first long ago.

The country that struggles with designing really basic shit like batteries and bridges aren't going to be a toe to toe tech threat to China. US' threat comes from it being a less powerful yet much more aggressive nation that is many times more willing to fight.

In fact in terms of AI, China will likely imminently pull ahead because they have already integrated task specific AI into many industrial sectors, which directly boost productivity. You already have your "AGI" in the form of the internet, chatbots that comb the internet to piece together replies are easy to make both for US and China, but are far from being useful at increasing productivity. Chatbots are a trap that impresses boomers with lifelike replies, the real AI frontier is in optimization algorithms.

It is Arabic Soft Power not BRICS. Just few days before this conference Zelenski made speech supporting two state solution and that further weakens his support among Israelis. and this late Saudi decision to participate to oblige Zelenski prevented much larger Global South participation as you you cannot trust global south when they are in the room with so many Europeans.
There is no Ukraine in Macron phone call. you can also see Macron standing between two Arab leaders in G-7 pics. he is doing all he can to regain Arabic Soft Power otherwise he will stay mad.

Why not, they started it first. Any retailiation is justified. Breaking up India is certainly not following US imperialism going out of its way hurting country minding is own way. That example do not apply to China breaking India. By your logic you have seen a bully hurting everyone, therefore you are not allowed to hurt a bully back. Crazy!

There was that article recently where it was reveal that Vice President Dick Cheney was trying to goad China into any military action against Taiwan so it would be used as an excuse for the US to attack China. I'm sure there are plenty of Republicans today that would love to have the US killing Chinese to express their power. Killing is the ultimate expression of power and they need to put the Chinese in their place. Back then it was seen that the US military could take on China. Why the West hates Xi is because China is now an innovative power in the world. The US military ability to be able to handle China is in question but that doesn't stop Republicans from wanting to attack China militarily because they need to express their power.

Are people questioning that Xi is wrong that the US wants to use Taiwan as an excuse to attack China militarily? Of course they are. It isn't just Taiwan. You don't think the US put it in Marcos' head that if China killed a Filipino in any conflict in the South China Sea, it could be considered an act of war? It's just Americans don't have the stomach to lose their lives in a war. That's why they're trying to organize other countries to do their fighting for them. That's their new strategy. The US is afraid to send troops to Ukraine because it can escalate to something worse. That isn't going to happen regarding China? You don't think the US wouldn't mind the return of anti-Chinese pogroms?
