Also remember the internal education video made by National Defence University about "peaceful evolution"/和平演变? Chinese leadership knows very well what the west is. Just for the sake of delaying the final showdown, they choose not to make it a drama. Even today they are still trying to keep their move to low key, but that isn't naive.

Anglo american firm that advises companies on how to stay liquid and effective forced to do layoffs. Really sounds like they should've hired some consultants on how to run PwC.
In my experience, these firms and roles tend to be 'make work' sweetheart jobs for the failsons and faildaughters of the anglo american elite. How else does a 23 year old make 150-220k per annum as a 'consultant'?

Seems like all those Chinese investment monies not going into US treasuries is causing severe hardship for the american living standards....
