Yeah, not weapons, but components used in weapons, another thing, lmao.
India breaking up would be the best thing that ever happened to the majority of people living there.
At least then there is one thing solved for them in terms of less bureaucratic hurdles and friction in general.
You will probably have some short-term pain, stemming from Hindu nationalists' unable to accept reality,
But after that, when more natural, and historically more fitting to exist, and agile (politically and economically) smaller countries get established,
Economically it would not ruin their lives, but make them way better (there can still be some FTA between them).
Then it is just about inviting China to help in some way shape or form economically (the current central gov. detests that).
One reason why India can't have a functioning government is precisely all those cultural differences and historical mismatches,
Between what the Brits created as a nation called India, and India being more fit to just be left as a geographical term.
Then there is the central government's unwillingness to tone down their stupid pride concerning China and asking them for help.
Or else, India might even get overtaken by even Africa because they would leverage their good relations with China, to rise, in part, alongside it in the future.
I presently see an extremely low chance that India will survive in this contrived, artificial form in the long run.
So, it's better to have it happen sooner than later. Better some short-term pain, than this current hopeless situation.
If India was for example US's enemy, then the CIA would have easily broken in by now 100 times, it isn't that hard.
Also, if China was the one who finally helped them to transition to more natural borders, it could also contain the potential war there.
After all, it would be also in the Chinese best interests to not have a major lasting war in their backyard.
