Sorry I have to disagree on this one. They can't claim ignorance of not knowing Chinese laws don't apply in the UK, and Dr K couldn't have done much to edit the live stream. The Chinese group was at fault first to even ask and cite a Chinese law. Also the NDA or embargo agreement doesn't concern Dr K neither.

Now, Dr K was an a-hole too but he didn't start the confrontation IMO.

Still I don't understand why the Englishman partner of the younger lady didn't step in to clear the initial misunderstanding...

Don't get me started with that stupid Newton guy, repeatedly yelling "Don't touch her" was just low and nasty. He's the worst of both sides.

the only solution is to absolutely crush and humiliate the aggressors to the degree where they can never even think about doing this again, in all aspects. even legally, or with social media cancellation, or anything that inflicts damage on them.

China itself has and should also keep not mentioning the "one China policy" which was initially an American attempt to legitimize territorial aggression, and China was forced to accept a compromise it in order to reclaim its UNSC seat with minimal hassle and to deescalate nuclear showdown in Asia.

"one China" is highly problematic because it encourages the notion that there can be legal rival claimants to governance in China.

Officials should strike one China from their vocabulary entirely and instead speak about "China's right to security" and "territorial defense".
