It is pretty much well known that China is the only country in history that did not prosecute the Jews.

There were two waves of Jewish migration into China. The first was several hundred years ago, the second wave was around WW2.

The Jews were never prosecuted in China as far as anyone knows, unlike other places.

That historical facts, creates a lot of good will. In opinion polls, Jews in Israel tend to have a much more positive view of China, compared to the people in Northern Europe.

That is why, this is a very sensitive time, because there is this connection between the Jews and China.

Uh oh. Cold sweats.

So the witch-hunt begins.

I'm glad sdf exists so we can have positive cultural exchanges like this. Until today I did not know that 转述 was in fact a combination of fake characters made up by westerners and does not appear in any original Chinese documents

I still remember many years ago when China didn't take any actions from stopping North Koreans from seeking asylum in foreign embassies and South Korean government begged China to prevent more North Koreans from seeking refuge as South Korea was overwhelmed. Maybe South Korea wants China to open the floodgate again.

As the Israelis are ethnically cleansing Gaza, their compatriots in the West are exhorting western countries to accept the Palestinian refugees so that Israel can be a pure land free for jewish settlers.

I'm not a fan of Australia but do get your facts straight.

The conditions were imposed on the Chinese worker by his employment agency (in China)

Far as I understand it, workers under the 457 visa program he went in on are entitled to healthcare and standard pre/post-natal leave of absence.
