That would be the end of american presence in Asia at the very least if they foolishly decide to do that, and if they are really planning on assassinating Xi, we would see massive US military surge in Japan, and South Korea, with carrier battle groups congregate in Japan, so far we haven't see signs of that, in fact 2 carriers are now in middle east.

Have this been confirmed? If true, the Chinese gov't fell into a trap which they'll earn many more headaches to come. Frankly, Beijing should also send the bill to cover the cost. After all, she's not even a Chinese citizen to begin with.

No, that weibo post is basically made up rumors, kind of a shitpost basically. Her mother's full interview was awful and she left China in 1994 to study in the west, mostly likely paid by Chinese government.
