Yeah I know that and hence why are Jewish politicians in the US so anti-China? There was a NYTimes article talking about Jews who escaped to Shanghai during WWII. In it there was actually a suggestion that China owes reparations to Jews there because they were forced to leave when the communists took over. Why is it relevant to bring up the fact more Chinese civilians died during WWII that Jewish civilians? Because everyone tells the Chinese how they suffered like Chinese didn't. I don't see sympathetic Jews defending China for turning communist. China turned communist as a direct result of Western colonialism. In the US the narrative is China turned communist because they want to take over the world. That's how the US vilifies China when the US sent Marines to stop revolts against Western colonial rule. I don't see Jews defending China on that lie. Are they obligated to ? No, and that why there should be no offense taken when Chinese are apathetic to what Jews are going through. GM stopped producing cars in 2020, but was not blocked from selling its plant for many years. Still hasn't closed a deal as of 2023. GM is not a Chinese company.

You said it already. They are politicians in the US. If you want to obtain political power in the US then you have to be willing to display unflinching anticommunist sentiment whenever and wherever it is asked of you with no hesitation, regardless of how dissonant this is with your personal background. That's how it works here, and how it has worked since the end of reconstruction. It has nothing to do with Jews or even China specifically, since the same shit happened with the USSR.
