This is strange logic of keeping Turkey out. It is like saying Turkey inside NATO means Turk soldiers have large bases inside Western EU.
Turkey earliest integration into EU institutions would have given EU greater influence on Turkish society and much wealthier country. There will be less need to emigrate. and Turks hardly on big families unlike some others from global south that came to EU anyway that has become much larger minority with much less integration potential. and i still think post Covid and Ukraine. Europe will need much more people. and Turkey should be put ahead of others.

Simple sell weapons to the Collectives West opponent and launch a full scale arm race and see if they're able to respond...lol China had a lot of option but before reacting you need to establish a good foundation first this is were the BRI, SCO and the BRIICSS comes in. The US an established player had decades of political and economic investment done by their predecessor, what is surprising for the Chinese ,is that the present generation of Western leaders are the one dismantling the institution their forefathers had established and they're squandering their inheritance. So in essence the Chinese just need to sit back politically(never interrupt your enemy when they're making mistake) and work hard economically to improve itself and focus on achieving it's goal of a COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL POWER (CNP).

And regarding Taiwan there is a famous Chinese quote "every family had its problem, family shame must not spread outside, If the family lives in harmony, all affairs will prosper".

I'm confident that the Taiwan issue will settled peacefully because we're one big Family.

I'm afraid you do not understand their rule of international order works. They already have greater influence by hanging the fruit in front of the Turks. What they do not want is more Turks and refugees from Turkey to the Schengen area.

I never heard that quote before, thats what it seems China is doing is just sitting back and waiting

Thai parliament begins session to elect new prime minister​

Move Forward leader Pita is the only candidate nominated

BANGKOK -- Thailand's Senate and House of Representatives on Thursday began a joint session to elect a prime minister.

Shortly after the session opened, Pita Limjaroenrat, the leader of the progressive Move Forward Party, was formally nominated as a candidate by Cholnan Srikaew, leader of the Pheu Thai party. Move Forward and Pheu Thai placed first and second in the May 14 general election and have joined to form a coalition with six other parties.

Conservative parties declined to nominate a challenger, leaving parliament to decide on Pita's qualifications alone.

The vote is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. local time. Lawmakers will be called in alphabetical order to vote yes or no to Pita, or abstain. Pita needs at least 376 votes to succeed.

Before voting, senators will have two hours to speak and House members four hours. Only 665 of 750 senators and representatives were present when floor speeches began.
