Simple sell weapons to the Collectives West opponent and launch a full scale arm race and see if they're able to respond...lol China had a lot of option but before reacting you need to establish a good foundation first this is were the BRI, SCO and the BRIICSS comes in. The US an established player had decades of political and economic investment done by their predecessor, what is surprising for the Chinese ,is that the present generation of Western leaders are the one dismantling the institution their forefathers had established and they're squandering their inheritance. So in essence the Chinese just need to sit back politically(never interrupt your enemy when they're making mistake) and work hard economically to improve itself and focus on achieving it's goal of a COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL POWER (CNP).
And regarding Taiwan there is a famous Chinese quote "every family had its problem, family shame must not spread outside, If the family lives in harmony, all affairs will prosper".
I'm confident that the Taiwan issue will settled peacefully because we're one big Family.
