Yeah this is correct, but I do think of all the new programming languages born in the 2010s rust is the furthest along and has the most backing. But the jobs are either at big tech on specialized projects/teams or writing smart contracts for crypto companies.
There are not a lot of small or medium tech companies adopting rust here in my part of Europe. So no one has paid me yet to pick up async rust
