This is par for the course for the Anglo American elites; they imprison people on trumped up charges eg Meng WenZhou and are eventually forced into a face saving 'plea bargain' and release when politics necessitates it. Biden did it for votes for the election and Meng was released as a precondition for Chinese talks.
At this stage, any Chinese companies that invest or set up factories in India are betraying the Chinese nation since they are effectively handing over Chinese tech and jobs to Indians who want to kill Chinese people and take Chinese lands. They deserve all the scorn heaped on them; the type of chinese 'entrepreneur', the jack Mas and Vicky Zhaos of the world who care more for money and white approval than helping Chinese people and aiding the rejuvenation of China.
If India was that awesome and capable as a society and country, then they would develop and acquire tech regardless of whatever roadblocks China puts up. They will eventually become a fully developed country.
On the other hand, if India is incompetent and incoherent, then no amount of easy access to technology will help them achieve industrial competitiveness. Now the question is, how competent do you think India is?
I think India is simply not competent enough to be a threat to China. Its a bubble economy which will eventually pop just like many other incompetent poor countries in the past. Think of Latin America but worse. Just look at their extremely overvalued stock market and you will know India is running on overhype that will eventually collapse.

While the author asks a relatively reasonable question in the article above, the authors in the following article are utterly delusional and think that China can be regime-changed like the former USSR. Just read the comments in the twitter thread.

Western propaganda and control of all media/web outlet is really that powerful. The mass of westerners are told from child hood to believe what they see and hear are from the "free" press or media which would give a truthful objective view. Hence they believe in that process. Read the comment section of any "big" press like nyt , wsj, wp, etc regarding China and it is the same retard racist false garbage over and over. Its US direct/indirect psyops operation going on in comments/twitter/reddit to add "authenticity" and reinforce the negative racist stereotypes.
Even many Asian/Chinese , including myself have had a negative view of China because you only learn of western way/history/anti-china from 0-12th grade + college
