Let this be a lesson or not to many idiot Chinese companies trying to do business in India.
At this stage, any Chinese companies that invest or set up factories in India are betraying the Chinese nation since they are effectively handing over Chinese tech and jobs to Indians who want to kill Chinese people and take Chinese lands. They deserve all the scorn heaped on them; the type of chinese 'entrepreneur', the jack Mas and Vicky Zhaos of the world who care more for money and white approval than helping Chinese people and aiding the rejuvenation of China.Let this be a lesson or not to many idiot Chinese companies trying to do business in India.

If India was that awesome and capable as a society and country, then they would develop and acquire tech regardless of whatever roadblocks China puts up. They will eventually become a fully developed country. The Chinese government better not let vivo sell what ever technology it has to tata. Vivo should grow a spine and rather leave the country than to be taken over on the cheap. There must be more to it, otherwise they company is just stupid at best, traitorous at worst.
Doesn't really matter, India isnt ever going to amount to nothing
This is par for the course for the Anglo American elites; they imprison people on trumped up charges eg Meng WenZhou and are eventually forced into a face saving 'plea bargain' and release when politics necessitates it. Biden did it for votes for the election and Meng was released as a precondition for Chinese talks.

Sorry I don’t believe this is some Sun Tzuzian approach."Do you see the West talk how "we all" get hurt? The Chinese seems to think expressing how weak or how hurt you are is suppose to garner sympathy and those doing the harm are suppose to stop. The only thing the West sees when Chinese do that is what they're doing is working and you think they'll stop? That's also naive to think that they care."
Another way to look at it is that the Chinese are giving a veiled warning.
China's words to the West: Hey, what you're doing is going to hurt all of us.
What China really means: You know, what you're doing is going to hurt *you*.
That is, after all, what consistently happens. (1) The West tries something against China. (2) China issues some milquetoast objection. (3) The West's actions result in China getting stronger.
"I mentioned before about Huawei founder, Ren Zhengfei, when the US was attacking and sanctioning his company, he would publicly cry how US actions were hurting his company pleading for the US to stop. Today Huawei is making more money than ever without the US and Western countries and their allies as customers."
Your Huawei example is a case in point.
Time to ask this question again: who actually went to jail for their crimes?Julian Assange has struck a plea deal and is about to be set free this week. Unfortunately, he is pleading guilty to violating the Espionage Act and that will be a problem for journalism going forward.
While the author asks a relatively reasonable question in the article above, the authors in the following article are utterly delusional and think that China can be regime-changed like the former USSR. Just read the comments in the twitter thread. This article and its recommendations shows you the insecurity of America. America can't feel safe and secure unless she has full spectrum dominance over others in terms of military, economy, diplomacy and politics. She is unable to live with others as equals or even be content with being the first amongst equals.
The caveat in this article of course is how to pay for all of these initiatives.
If this this young Chinese American's experience typical, it's still quite a revelation to me as his co-workers are educated and should be well-informed.
Western media Bias in China brain washed most westerners
