US may expand nuclear arsenal – Biden aide​

Washington is considering increasing the number of its atomic warheads in the coming years, given the international situation, a senior official on the National Security Council has said.

Pranay Vaddi is the senior director for arms control, disarmament, and nonproliferation at the NSC. He gave the keynote address at the Arms Control Association’s annual meeting on Friday.

“We may reach a point in the coming years where an increase from current deployed numbers is required,” said Vaddi, according to Reuters. “We need to be fully prepared to execute if the president makes that decision.”

“If that day comes, it will result in a determination that more nuclear weapons are required to deter our adversaries and protect the American people and our allies and partners,” he added.

Some of the planning is being made in the expectation that US President Joe Biden will win a second term in office this November.

The size of the US nuclear arsenal is currently limited by the New START treaty, negotiated with Russia in 2010. It is presently set to expire in 2026, with no indications that it might be renewed.

Last year, Russia formally suspended its participation in New START, citing US sanctions over the Ukraine conflict and encouragement of Kiev’s attacks on Russian strategic air bases. Moscow has continued to observe the treaty’s provisions capping the number of nuclear weapons and delivery systems, however.

Meanwhile, China has shown no interest in negotiating a nuclear treaty with the US.

Vaddi’s speculation about a possible expansion of the American atomic arsenal was teased in the Washington press ahead of time as a possible change to nuclear policy.

The US has already announced plans to update its ‘nuclear triad’, from strategic bombers and ballistic missile submarines to new gravity bombs and silo-based missiles. All of the projects are currently in development, but appear to be over budget and behind schedule.

The B-21 Raider strategic bomber had its first flight last November and is not expected to start replacing the current bomber fleet before 2027. The first of the Columbia-class ballistic missile submarines is currently under construction and scheduled to enter service by 2031.

The primary thermonuclear gravity bomb, the B61, was designed in the 1960s. The Pentagon has signaled plans to develop new variants, but it remains unclear whether Congress has approved funding for the project.

The Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) project is scheduled for its first flight in 2026, leaving the US Strategic Command struggling to extend the life of its Minuteman III missiles, which first entered service in the 1970s.

Many other parts of the world where they weren't "white" like the Middle East and India but they were Caucasian anthropologically. That's why there's only three races according Western anthropology. Those people were taught to really hate Africans and East Asians.

During the Cold War radical Islam was more of a problem for the West towards the end. Before that, they looked down at Africans and East Asians as inferior to them like Westerners did. So don't think like with people in the Middle East saw it as "us" Arabs, Africans, and Asians versus white Caucasians. That's why don't count on Turkey being a loyal friend to China because they identify with being "white" more and Chinese as lesser to them. And just like Westerners, because Chinese don't follow their hierarchy of things, they probably resent China's success. You see it in Brazil too. Why do right-wing Brazilians tend to be anti-China? China didn't do anything in history to them. It's like a Brazilian right-wight supporter of Bolsonaro said, he was envious and hated China because he thought Brazil should be where China is at in the world today. So the crime is Chinese not knowing their place below Brazilians.

That brings up Latin America. Did you know that all Latin American countries see Mexico as the lowest of Latin countries? Why? Because Mexicans are seen as the most mixed with Indians. Most Latin American countries look to how closer their are to Spain and Europe. Why the hate with Indians? Because the indigenous people of the Americas are of Mongoloid descent.

So don't be surprised by how countries you think wouldn't have a beef with China do. What's the difference between China and the West today is China has the money. When it comes down to it China is as vulnerable as much as the West is experiencing today because that's what everyone wants. Is anyone surprised how countries aren't as "loyal" to China as you think? You have Chinese who think say nothing do nothing is what's best for China. If there are Chinese who think China should do nothing even when wronged. you think other countries see they can depend on China when Chinese don't even defend themselves?

Then apply that logic to why does China like to publicly proclaim how Western actions hurts China when it really doesn’t? For example, being a member of the International Space Station… it was so important to Beijing. China can build its own space station and has. No harm to China done. Look at Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei. When the US was attacking his company and kidnapped his daughter for ransom, he was crying US sanctions against Huawei was hurting and calling for the US to stop. Today Huawei is making more money than ever without the US and the West as customers. Huawei is now appropriately a threat to the West’s semiconductor industries.

Why would anyone side with China when some Chinese prefer to make China look vulnerable to the West? People want to side with the strong not with the weak. Yes, it is true that there’s no such thing as allies but only self-interests. This includes the West. The US’s own “allies” only side with the US because of self-interests and not because the US is a beacon of all that is good. Europe hates Donald Trump but they’ll follow behind him because they are that weak without the US on their side.

People don't have to wonder why the West has this advantage. It's not hard to understand. They were in control of the world for four hundred years. They colonized most of the world. They're white supremacists who wanted the world to believe they were superior because those that believed it were less likely to go against it. Generations have lived and died where nothing but white supremacy being brainwashed to most of the world to know nothing else. That’s why the world slants towards the West.

This is the reason why folks like Colbridge and Pottinger want the U.S. to focus on China. They’re really more concerned about maintaining white supremacy than US hegemony, and even feel that China should be easier than Russia since they will be warring with “inferior mongoloids”.

This racist mentality that you speak of is why there exists an industry of “China watchers” and why Chinese English speaking media must employ white Caucasian reporters: because western audiences will disregard anything coming from a Chinese person, but if spoken by a white person, they will immediately take it at face value. This attitude is also why the American led west now trails China in science; if american researchers had bothered to read Chinese literature and research, they wouldn’t be so shocked at the progress of Chinese science and they wouldn’t have to steal and plagiarise it as their own.

Russia and China Plan JV Shipping Line for Year-Round Service on the NSR​

Continuing forward with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s imperative to develop the Northern Sea Route as an alternative means of transporting cargo, Rosatom which oversees the NSR and a Chinese shipping company announced an agreement to form a joint venture. The plan calls for the building of ice-class container ships that will be used to establish year-round transit on the NSR.

Under the agreement announced today in Saint Petersburg, Rosatom will form a joint venture partnership with China’s Hainan Yangpu NewNew Shipping Company to develop the year-round service. Rosatom said the plan is to build up to five Arctic-class containerships which would allow year-round service. Each vessel would conduct a minimum of three to four voyages.

One thing that always holds true is that nature operates on a functional balance, and any time something no longer functions a new system balance will be generated; this is no less true for human politics as it is for things in the natural world. A corollary to that point is that the critical elements in the generation of a new state of balance will be placed in the necessary positions to do so; this also means that, in the human political-economic context, China will be the effective standard bearer of a new state of balance because they are the ones with the means to actually fulfill that role, and this operates independently of intentions or desire for either themselves or external parties.

Oh? That means China should no longer restrict herself in terms of building up and upgrading her nuclear arsenal.

If the US wants to restart the nuclear arms race, then China should follow suit. During the last nuclear arms race, the Soviet Union got exhausted in a nuclear buildup competition spree with the US, UK and France.

Now, let's see who's going to be the one that will get exhausted this time around.
