this is as silly as saying a corporate bond is an unfunded corporate liability while ignoring any income the capital project will itself generate
If there is reasonable doubt that the corporation issuing the bond will not be able to pay back the bond in full, or if the capital generated by the project funded the bond is insufficient to pay back the bond, then it isn't silly to consider the bond unfunded at all.

The combined future incomes of ~160M people (and growing) can be very accurately forecast. It’s thus silly to do a balance sheet where all payables of social security are counted as liabilities but receivables of social security aren’t counted as assets.

It absolutely is silly if those receivables have not materialized yet and is really fraudulent accounting.

Are you saying that there is somehow a situation in 2035 where everyone has died/stopped working but it somehow only affects individuals who are of working-age? It’s not exactly a radical presumption that for decades to come, ~160M people in the U.S. will be working for taxable wage income Receivables (in general) are only recorded on a balance sheet after a bill has been sent out but it’s a near certainty that receivables on the income of the future wages of 160M people will be collectible into perpetuity

Did you already forget about what happened in 2020?

Lots of threats lately by the West towards China. I reiterate my simply solution on dealing with such chihuahuas, with every new threat by the West, Xi should immediately send 100000 shells, 10000 drones and 500 cruise missile to Russia.

Sometimes, complex problems require simple solutions

Those threat is likely only the beginning. If the rumored Russian offensive really does come in summer. Then expect the hostile actions to increase tenfold against China.

A very interesting and illuminating read on Vietnam's political landscape and the expungement of its "liberal president" that has contributed to the Anti-China wave back in 2018 and the purposeful rehabilitation of the U.S. image at the expense of China.

I didn't realize that any leader in Vietnam seen as weak against China will be viewed as a TRAITOR. That the head of their textbooks and history was headed or given to the very person that wanted to do away with the party (CPV) bring in multi-party, rehabilitate the image of South Vietnam's then government for the sake of "unity."

If Vietnam isn't careful, they would become the next SOVIET UNION: a failed state reverting back to the north south out into the open.
