They can try move in their professionals. They will not fare better than Ukrainians under mobilization. If they mobilize they will collapse internally on an undeclared war. Germany can send entire professional military and it will be crushed by Russians.

Officer cadets study in Germany, and engineering is notoriously demanding. I can imagine that they will sent them to ukraine with the promise of earning Credit points that way, wouldn't be the first mental gymnast move by germany.

Given Russian history of targeting hotel hosting mercenary and suspected location of foriegn instrictors, they will likely be targeted if found.

These ragtag rebels the Houthis attack Western shipping.

The United States tries to stop them. The coalition they assembled dissolved immediately.

The US Navy cannot stop the attacks that continue.

When Russia, China, Iran, exercise their navies in the same area, the attacks seemed to have stopped just at that time.

After that exercise is over, then they get back to business as usual.

States in the region, can see who has influence, and who just wants to bomb.

The US has to decide if they want two major simultaneous wars in Ukraine and Yemen. Maybe even three with China in Taiwan as well. Or not.

A war in Yemen has the potential to be as difficult as the one in Afghanistan. The war in Ukraine has the potential of being the biggest since the Korean War.
