Misleading headline.
The meeting already happened and I watched the press conference of Michel and Ursula. In fact, Ursula mentioned that most companies are not even Chinese but have some presence in China and China is constructively engaging on the issue even before this summit (probably China threw them a token bone to stop nagging but Russia-China trade won't be affected).

Saudi prince dies in plane crash (F-15 fighter jet) – media

Saudi Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has died aged 62, the Saudi monarchy announced on Thursday. Reports in Arabic media claim the prince was killed in a plane crash.

The Saudi royal court announced the prince’s passing in a short statement, saying that funeral prayers for the deceased royal would be performed at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.

Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz was the son of Prince Bandar and the grandson of the first Saudi monarch, King Abdulaziz. Born in 1961, he was a lieutenant colonel in the Royal Saudi Air Force and served as assistant intelligence chief at the GIP, the Saudi intelligence agency, from 2004 to 2012.

While the court’s statement did not reveal a cause of death, Lebanon’s Al Mashhad news outlet reported that the prince died when his F-15 fighter jet crashed during a training exercise with the air force earlier on Thursday.

I remember @MarKoz81 said something about starting a war in Latin America is ideal for China and Russia. I consider the suggestion crazy at the time because I don’t see which country would start one. Now he is proven prescient.
Mind posting the link to that @MarKoz81's post?

Though, realistically speaking, while having the US stuck in more wars in its own backyard is a good thing for China and Russia, neither can offer any significant assistance to Venezuela (and Cuba as well).

The shitstorm around this game is going to be epic, I may have to pre-order. It's not even out yet and there are memes already around this game, for one people are referring to it as 猿神 in reference to Genshin Impact dominating the mobile market.

If China and Russia wanted to support Venezuela, the best thing they could do is send in part of their Navy to Venezuela to guard it against US military intervention. For example China could send in surface ships and Russia could send in nuclear submarines. But I doubt this would work in the long run. That place is just too close to the US, so they have the military superiority there. And Venezuela isn't the stablest of places to begin with. Regardless of what they think of the US extracting oil from the offshore shelf in Guyana, it's a bad idea for Venezuela to act militarily.

Still, Russia probably doesn't care much at this point about Western sanctions, but I kind of doubt China would send in their Navy.
The Chinese Navy is basically geared up for a conflict in the Pacific, not in the other side of the world.

At this point, the US Navy is heavily committed in the Middle East, and they have two carriers in the Pacific, so I kind of doubt the US could respond quickly to an intervention by Venezuela. But you can bet it would happen eventually.

In a similar incident in July, a Saudi F-15 crashed during a training mission in Khamis Mushait, killing all members of crew onboard.

In November of last year, another F-15 crashed at the King Abdulaziz Air Base training area due to a technical malfunction, but the two officers onboard survived after using their ejector seats.
