iPhone 16 batteries is going to be made in India. Overpriced phones but with shoddy cheap core component this time.
Apple is playing politics, and the consumers are gonna get overpriced, shoddy products. Indian manufacturers have a track record of stagnation. I won't hold my breath for Indian manufacturing to improve their QC anytime soon. Who's up to buying iPhones with Indian-made Lithium-ion batteries in them? I'm staying far away from those potential explosive devices.

They are only looking to supply the made in India iPhones with the made in India batteries.
Some made in India iPhones have been exported around. Some made it into Malaysia, which caused quite a stir in the local social media. There were people rejecting their pre-ordered iPhones when they found the serial no. of their iPhones to be made in India units.

I don't like Apple very much anyways. Their products are getting overpriced with average specs. Only their marketing is top class. Plus I don't wanna buy products from companies that plays politics with China. So no more new Apple products for me until they stop the politics.

So far we are only hearing noises from US and Western sources. We don't truly know if Venezuela will really go ahead and launch a military operation. I don't know the true history of this dispute to tell which party is right or wrong. Nevertheless the Western media is making it sound like 'evil' Venezuela is gonna attack Guyana anytime soon, and that the US and its allies are gonna standby Guyana. It smells like another attempt at proxy war provocation to me.
Yes another war, now in Latin America, that will be quite juicy for Russia and China. If Venezuela proves useful and actually drags US into another war, that will truly blow up the western alliance. They are too occupied. They will probably abandon Ukraine and make peace with China in order to deal with Venezuela and Middle East.

China let's its dissidents live long enough to vindicate China.

Oh, my bad. The hamas hostages must have been drugged.
That's one of the reasons I am pro-China. China, unlike India, doesn't assassinate dissidents on foreign soil. I have Khalistani friends and I absolutely support their movement, but sometimes I fear for their lives.

On the other hand, I could go to a rally wearing a "Free Tibet" shirt and chant "f*** Xi Jinping" and nothing would happen to me at all.

Ah 2047, that magical year when India celebrates its 100th anniversary.

Here are other things that India plans to do by 2047:

NEW DELHI: India is estimated to be a $30 trillion developed economy by 2047,

India is well on the path to becoming one of the two largest economies in the world by 2047. Hon’ble Commerce and Industries Minister has also predicted that by 2047 India will be a global powerhouse with the size of economy around $ 35 trillion. The vision document for the same is already being prepared in consultation with a wide-range of stakeholders across all sectors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India's economic growth is a “natural by-product” of his nine-year-old government's political stability, as he expressed optimism that it will be a developed nation by 2047 with "corruption, casteism and communalism" having no place in our national life.

So 2047 seems to be India's new target to become Supapowa. Then what about 2020? They were supremely confident too back then.

Lieutenant General
Also just to add more info to this situation, Maduro ordered the establishment of a military zone in the disputed region:

Plus, the amount of oil there supposedly can turn Guyana into a Petrostate:

So there is a lot at stake for Guyana and US oil companies in that region.

Where there is oil, there will be CIA.

A Guyanese army helicopter with seven people on board has gone missing near Guyana's border with

as tensions escalate in a territorial dispute over the region of Essequibo, officials said.

So far, however, authorities have stressed that bad weather rather than hostile fire is the most likely cause of the aircraft's disappearance.
The helicopter was taking five senior Guyanese officers to inspect troops guarding the border area that both countries claim as their own, according to Brigadier General Omar Khan, chief of the Guyanese army.

He said two crew members were also on the aircraft, a brand new Bell 412 EPI, which vanished about 48 kilometers (30 miles) east of the Venezuelan border.

Khan told reporters there were no indications that Venezuela was involved in the incident, despite the recent build-up of Venezuelan troops with heavy equipment and machinery at the border.

"We do not have any information suggesting that there was any flight by Venezuelan aircraft in that area," he said. "Speculation is not what I want to go into. Our priority is to save the lives of our officers and ranks."

Khan said that the US would help in the search for the aircraft on Thursday.
What bad timing to be losing a military helicopter with senior officers onboard.

As expected, nothing substantial about the China-EU summit, but dialogue is good if only because the EU leaders hear China's pov directly from Chinese leaders instead from biased media sources which constantly distort China's position and it shows in their press conference that they are more cordial and far less aggressive. Apparently, there is some progress on AI regulations, on mutual understanding of trade imbalance issues, on climate cooperation, on security issues such as Palestine, and the two sides are re-engaging on human rights issues.

Next, Xi is heading to Vietnam to discuss more cooperation on BRI projects and rare earths. Allegedly, CPC is also trying to convince CPV to adopt more of its own ideology and vision to solidify the partnership.
