It may be the case, but my point was that there is no point for China speed that up which only serves US well not China. It is like if a play mate tells you that he will not join your party, you can say "that is a shame, but so be it", or you can say the F word and curse all his ancestors. The suggestion that I objected is the later. This kind of sentiment is so childish to the point that I begin to doubt it is out of being immature.
China needs people like Liu Bang, not Xiang Yu. The very recent example is CPC in 1948 pulling everyone possible including Kuomintang's left wing. Before the final victory, nobody knows who is on whose side, kicking everybody for the slightes "disrespect" is only helping the enemy.

This is quite worrisome if you consider the fact that there are few doves in the US regime today. They are almost all hawks toward China. Also, American scholars with real knowledge about China are also becoming scarce.

From what I understand the indigenous people that survived colonization are mostly located near or in the Amazon jungle. Countries without the Amazon like Argentina or Chile end up being all mixed or majority white with little ancestral memory left.
What is noteworthy is that ppl like Macgregor only want to let up on Russia because they want to focus all attention and resources on the racial holy war against China.

If they give up on Ukraine does it give more or less confidence to Taiwanese? Does it make it more or less likely for DPP to formally declare independence? I would think no.
If DPP doesn't make a move then it's hard for US to come up with a reason to start a war. That's one thing that makes DPP different from Kiev - they love to save their own skin.
