You wanna hear a Western European voice, go listen to the G7 meetings and all the declarations they make that have no sense, meaning, or follow-through but were simply made to look like they did something or acted tough to someone. I've heard more than enough of it for several lifetimes and it's all oral diarrhea to me. I want to hear their voice no more than I'd like to hear the voice of cancer or disease in my body and that's an exact analogy to their bid to enter BRICS.

The bourgeois versus proletariat and the Americans are the capital class, even though American mythology renders them to be the underdog, but they are the oppressors, if we go by standard definitions. Heck, apparently all the money flowed upwards to the West from the Global South the past three decades, but I don't have that data or graphs in front of me right now.
The problem is that the bourgeois in America, tries to corrupt or co-opt the bourgeois in the exploited countries. That is all done in the name of the Washington Consensus or a stupid phrase like up holding the rules based order.
That is why this stuff will not work in China. The Chinese people are highly politically aware and sensitive. This class struggle is a class struggle between peoples and nations, the unwashed masses in China will not fall for that American bullshit.
That is why, this is never even a topic for discussion between China and America.
The Americans want to entrench their advantages, like dollar hegemony, to ensure wealth around the world flows their way. The Chinese have different ideas, and those ideas of economic fairness has a very wide and listening audience worldwide. Notable exceptions would be the Philippines and Argentina, if we can actually believe the news coming out of those places.

Well, they need a partner or opponent, which no one is particularly interested, because the other countries of the world, got better things to do.
