Honor plans IPO. Not sure which bourse Honor plans to conduct its listing but look likes Honor would never be back to Huawei.

Not if Huawei buys the shares at or after IPO. They just need 51% of the equity to have majority control of Honor and can even vote to sell itself back to Huawei (in theory and funny if this actually ended up happening)

After ending of financing coal power plants due to Western pressure, China has turned to renewable as a new source of investment and development in belt road projects. Ironically, China is more dominated in renewable sectors than coal and gas turbines technology.

Even some British mainstream media now admit that China's pollution reduction has reached an inflection point.
China’s CO2 emissions may be falling already, in a watershed moment for the world
Xi’s quest for global supremacy is in perfect alignment with the country’s clean-tech dominance

China’s carbon emissions have either peaked already or will do this winter, seven years ahead of schedule. They may plateau for a year or two but will then go into exponential decline for mechanical and unstoppable reasons.

The country’s target of net zero by 2060 is likely to be achieved a decade earlier than previously assumed, and perhaps earlier than in Europe.

The holocaust is the bedrock of Western moral legitimacy and subconscious after WWII. To many indoctrinated Westerners, Nazism and Hitler represented absolute irredeemable evil, making the Holocaust and the word "genocide" the ultimate evil branding. By "saving" the Jews from the camps, the UK and USA used it as proof that they were the white knights and god's chosen people. Ignoring things like Britain's far more cruel past deeds and the crucial role of the USSR in the war, of course.

These current events have initiated a complete collapse of Jewish claim to morality and their international portrayal as victims. The USA will escaped unscathed morally: you can already see BBC and NYT switching gears, as they prepare to wash their hands of Palestinian blood. But the far right Israel, politically dominated by radicals, further egged on by vindictive, white billionaire Jews sitting on their thrones safely in the US, can no longer put back on that mask.

After 70 years, the era of the holocaust and Nazism in historical memory has finally ended. For the Gen Z, this is the start of the era of the Global South- where it is with the Palestinians that historical memory and consciousness will now be founded on.
By completely ignoring Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza, the West demonstrates unequivocally to the rest of the world how hypocritical they really are. Just look at some of the White House's "concerns":

Seems like after America's disastrous policy regarding Palestinians. They want to distract Muslims by accusing China. But too bad since most Muslims don't fall for this.

VOA, nuff said. Propaganda vs reality:

Possibly - a war against Iran next? Ukraine and Gaza are not enough? Let me guess: the MIC always wants moar moar moar!

Atlanticist parties (VVD and D66) were destroyed. I am not very happy with right-wing populists winning but the Netherlands needed a change. And the change happened. That Turkish-Dutch PM candidate of VVD has a father who had run away from Turkey as he was a separatist.
Do you foresee a possibility for Netherlands to change its stance regarding ASML export controls on China?
Also what is their stance on Russia-Ukraine war?

Let's see how further in the media this goes. Will it reach the mainstream media that's been stifling anything critical of Israel? That's why Biden is fighting hard for a ceasefire. It looks bad in the global south that the West doesn't want to get closer to China.

It's pretty sickening to see how if you don't go out of your way to support Israel you can be fired. Actress Jenna Ortega of Netflix's Wednesday fame is now fired from the Scream movie franchise after another actress on the franchise made her pro-Palestinian stance public and because Ortega didn't speak out against her friend, they fired her too. It may not be the case but it's no different from this former Obama official making up that the street vendor said pro-Hamas statements to him for the reason why he said the things he said. Typical... changing his tune after he got caught.

What would Huawei gain from buying back Honor now. If they want they could just start another Honor like brand, when their chip manufacturing ramps up.

There is also potential issues over supplier contracts that could include penalties if Huawei repurchase Honor again. I don’t know if any suppliers to Honor may have conflicting geopolitical problems if they were suddenly back at Huawei. Far easier to just start from a clean slate a second time.

‘Gay furry’ hackers hit US nuclear lab

The group calling itself SiegedSec demanded research into “catgirls”

The Idaho National Laboratory, a nuclear research hub working for the US Department of Energy, confirmed on Wednesday that it had suffered a cybersecurity breach earlier this week. A group of “gay furry hackers”called SiegedSec has claimed responsibility.

The “massive data breach” at INL happened on Sunday night and resulted in employee addresses, Social Security numbers, bank account information and other private data getting posted online, according to local media.

The breach happened “in a federally approved vendor system” that “supports INL cloud Human Resources services,” a spokesperson for INL told the outlet Endgadget on Wednesday, adding that the lab took “immediate action to protect employee data.”

INL is located in Idaho Falls, a community of about 67,000 residents in the eastern part of the state. It has more than 5,000 employees and works on researching nuclear reactors and sustainable energy projects for the federal government.

Local media initially did not name the suspected hackers, but a group calling itself SiegedSec eventually took responsibility, posting some of the purloined information on social media.

“We’re willing to make a deal with INL. If they research creating irl catgirls we will take down this post,” SiegedSec wrote in a message announcing the leak on Monday.

A catgirl is a type of character seen in some Japanese anime and manga, usually a human girl with cat ears, tail, or other characteristics. “IRL” stands for “in real life.” SiegedSec described itself as a group of gay “furry”hackers, referring to a fetish involving anthropomorphic animals.

The group has claimed responsibility for leaking hundreds of NATO documents in early October, as well as hacking several US state governments in June, ostensibly for passing laws against “gender-affirming” surgical procedures. On that occasion, SiegedSec leaked approximately 180 gigabytes of data from Texas alone, and said it had hacked Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and South Carolina as well.
