To many indoctrinated Westerners, Nazism and Hitler represented absolute irredeemable evil, making the Holocaust and the word "genocide" the ultimate evil branding. By "saving" the Jews from the camps, the UK and USA used it as proof that they were the white knights and god's chosen people. Ignoring things like Britain's far more cruel past deeds and the crucial role of the USSR in the war, of course.
These current events have initiated a complete collapse of Jewish claim to morality and their international portrayal as victims. The USA will escaped unscathed morally: you can already see BBC and NYT switching gears, as they prepare to wash their hands of Palestinian blood. But the far right Israel, politically dominated by radicals, further egged on by vindictive, white billionaire Jews sitting on their thrones safely in the US, can no longer put back on that mask.
