I wouldn't take what Biden says to domestic reporters seriously. It's all a show, the real powers that control the relationship is the US business and corporate elites. The politicians are bought and owned by corporations.

Anyways, China knows during election season, US politicians compete to say a bunch of nasty shit, but once elected, it calms down (exception is Trump). So long as the redline on Taiwan is not crossed, China isn't going to worry, the US domestic politics is a shitshow, and US political dysfunction and polarization likely accelerate it's decline.

Turns out the Hongqi limos were transported to San Francisco one day before President Xi's arrival using an Air China Cargo Boeing 747-400F.
