US should place ‘no limit’ on civilian casualties Israel inflicts, senator says

The US should place “no limit” to civilian casualties Israel might inflict in Gaza in response to the Hamas terror attacks of 7 October, a senior Republican senator said.

Speaking to CNN, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was asked: “Is there a threshold for you, and do you think there should be one for the United States government, in which the US would say, ‘Let’s hold off for a second in terms of civilian casualties?’”

Graham said: “No. If somebody asked us after world war two, ‘Is there a limit what would you do to make sure that Japan and Germany don’t conquer the world? Is there any limit what Israel should do to the people who are trying to slaughter the Jews?’

“The answer is no. There is no limit.”

Graham said Israel should “be smart” and “try to limit civilian casualties the best we can. Let’s put humanitarian aid in areas that protect the innocent. I’m all for that.”

At least 1,400 people were killed on 7 October, when Hamas fighters attacked Israeli targets. More than 200 hostages were taken. The Gaza health ministry says nearly 9,000 people have since been killed in Israeli strikes.

Graham appeared on CNN on Tuesday night, in the aftermath of airstrikes on a Gaza refugee camp which killed dozens. The Israeli military said it targeted a Hamas commander. Hamas said hostages, including foreign passport holders, were killed.

The CNN host, Abby Phillip, asked Graham: “In 2023 … is it acceptable to drop bombs on a densely populated civilian area where there are refugees, where people are living, where there are children?”

Recounting atrocities reportedly carried out by Hamas, Graham said its destruction was “non-negotiable”. He also said he “hate[d] the loss of innocent lives”, and claimed Israel was trying to limit civilian casualties as Hamas tried to increase them.

Family Interest come first, we are an oligarchy society after all. ;)

Bro you got it exactly right, what are the similarities between Gollum and the Filipinos BOTH had a Precious problem...lol One is a ring the other is a Green Card.;)

Another Thing the so called Pinoy Pride is artificially design to perpetuate the current Oligarchy system. Its a contradiction, where are the pride when most of our dollar income come from our suffering OFW, how many children are malnourished? The left who used to advocate this socialism ideas had been coopted, the old guards had died and the new one studied at Ivy league school. So it beneath them to rally in the street and demand changes cause it may affect their career path.

Bro the American practice Divide and Conquer during their occupation. Look at our Muslim insurgency, the US transplant many Christian settlers in Mindanao to pacify the Island during the early 1900. The similarities between the Israel -Palestinian and them are so stark that maybe the American formulate this strategy early on with lesson learn from the British. Another similarities is between the 1986 Edsa Revolution and the Orange Revolution, the Philippine are being used as a testing ground for the US hybrid war.
Aren't most of the oligarchy of Philippines of Fujianese extraction (Jollibee, San Miguel, etc.)

Chinese oppression confirmed

HAHAHA!!!!! a good one bro, No! there is a big difference, the one you mentioned are the Taipans, the Captain of Industries, so they are apolitical. The Chinese mestizo or the old families of landed gentry owned large tract of land and are active in politics. These people are rent seekers, this is how they do business by onerous gov't contracts, they are plotting who will be the next President, VP, Senators and Congressman that will do their bidding

More people are seeing reality that the standard of life in "developed" Western nations aren't what they seem.
More like the Canadian agency in charge of Immigration has to issue such report to dilute the real and objective concerns from the Trudeau led initiative of welcoming waves of new immigrants into the country faster than what it can realistically absorb. That's due to Canada's FAILING BIRTH RATE which is why it MUST CONTINUE welcoming immigrants, refugees, to sustain the country's economic viability and growth. But the idiotic plan has caused so much back lash that the same government has now put in placed strict guidelines for new comers. A guidelines and or rules that should have been in placed to begin with rather than introducing it during a crisis. Lol

I honestly don't. I know Japanese in real life. They're outperformed by their Chinese peers at work. They see their Chinese classmates take top spots in all STEM classes. When we interact, there is nothing they are better than us at. When I was in University, I used to go to the Shotokan/Kyokushin practices just to beat them (with control, not maliciously) with my Sanshou while following all Karate Kumite rules. I mean there is literally nothing they are better than us at. But we chat, eat together, drink together and I feel no arrogance in them at all. They turn on the news and see that China's economy grew by 5% while thiers shrank and America's went up 1.4%. They see that China has invented this and that and America attempts more sanctions after the last round failed. If they can see these things and believe the Chinese to be inferior then they are truly, for a lack of a better word, mentally retarded. The Japanese whom I've met, are not. They're not as accomplished as Chinese people on average, but they are far from mental retardation.

Yeah I see the pattern. You keep watching interviews supported by the US media.

That's your theory based on Youtube videos/theory. In real life, Hong Kong Roaches all gave up. And due to Chinese prowess in every field, we are respected as colleagues, often with jokes about Chinese people working too hard and being too smart. So, my real life experience with Japanese, Koreans, Hong Kongers and Taiwanese suggest to me that they are not blinded by ignorant hate but understand very much that China's rise is unstoppable, it is supported by world-class thinkers, and they can only move around such a megatrend.
Tbh as a HKer, some HK people are truly the exception to that, its almost always the waste of lives that didn't excel at anything at all, yet couldn't accept mediocrity, and because of that, say they only experienced "hardships" under the "communist" government. And since they weren't born during the UK occupation, they don't know about how life was aside from what modern day propaganda tells them.
And how have you gained such a profound understanding of it?

True and I agree.

Boomers are about to die out so I don't care.

I've never seen or heard of this in any modern Japanese person. How low must someone's IQ be to think this dispite China being superior to Japan in every way nationally? Even on a person to person level, Chinese people in the US typically outperform their Japanese counterparts both in school and at work. They simply don't have anything that would even allow them to imagine being superior to Chinese people.
This. Tbh almost all Japanese I've known have been overly timid. While some Chinese have a more Japanese like disposition, most are significantly more open.

Japan may be richer than Xinjiang or Tibetans, but most Japanese people don't compare themselves with those. They compare themselves with the coastal Chinese, because those are more similar to them, and Japanese culture doesn't settle towards comparison with the worst among the lineup.
That's not going to happen. China does not commit atrocies like Israelis and Japanese. If Japan respects only power, which I agree with, it logically must respect a China that can displace American power which can easily dominate over Japanese power to no end. There is no counterlogic to this other than a mythical supposition that the Japanese only understand brutality followed by a fantastical desire to see China torture and murder Japanese civilians.
Regardless of the method needed, it is imperative for China to gather back up Japan in order to fully complete the reconstruction of China's order in Asia.

Japan has a historic and logical place as a subordinate nation to China. It is likely that they can be coerced without major violence, but China should never renounce the option of using maximum force to ensure that the Asian and international project cannot be threatened.

Japanese people are mostly peaceful, but there are leaders in Japan that have nazi lineage, and are a threat towards the integration that should be achieved between these 2 great historical civilizations.
