Apparently this guy's dad was a big arab spring leader in Saudi Arabia back then, he grew up in London as political refugee. Took him long enough but at last his eyes are open.

To quote a popular Zhang Weiwei meme:

Same, I used to have a high opinion in relation to the USA and Japan, but during highschool when I learnt the truth and even further during my Uni days, I turned completely against these b@stards and I await the day that China finally gives these cowards what they deserve. I only pray that this happens during my life time so that I can get a good look at my relatives who I will say are in absolute need of a reality check. I managed to get through to my cousin but the rest of them still have a long way to go. Thankfully my parents are the ones to explain all this to me so I credit them for saving me from being a libtard.

The argument is still disingenuous. Italy and Germany also got a substantial amount of gas via the pipelines coming from Ukraine and Poland. Not just the other smaller countries like Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc. In fact originally all gas sold to Germany came from the pipelines over Ukraine. The newer pipelines were built because as the supply of gas from the Urals became more depleted the new supplies in the Arctic in the Yamal Peninsula were better served by a new shorter pipeline further to the north. And then there is the fact by cutting out the middlemen the Russians could get a larger slice of the pie for themselves, and sell gas cheaper to the final customers even. Back when the pipelines over Ukraine were originally built they were still part of the USSR so that wasn't as much of an issue.
Its Nord Stream AG. I doubt it is even profitable. when Germans get involved things get expensive over life cycle from construction to maintenance. not some Soviet pipelines whose primary intent was Eastern EU.

According to information, QazaqGaz and PetroChina International signed a new gas export contract for 2023-2026.
“The signed agreement will allow the companies to bring cooperation on the export of Kazakh gas to China to a new effective level,” the company explained. It is noted that the document was signed within the framework of the “One Belt – One Road” summit with the participation of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Mine was called REALITY and living in the Philippines, a country who's political infrastructures, governance and style was patterned after that of the U.S. and yet that country has turned into the Jai Hind of South East Asia both in shitty governance, incompetence, graft and corruption, best of all, in loquaciousness. Then, I was convinced that maybe the Filipinos were of lesser nature, meaning I became racist against what I viewed was genetically inferior people, so I ventured to both the U.S. became a Democratic (Obama, hope and change) then Republican sycophant (free market, guns for everyone, shed your ethnic identity and embrace white American identity ala Richard Hainan the retard).

My was 1999 Belgrade embassy bombing, although I remember I wasn't very impressed during the 1996 Taiwan Strait Crisis either, I recall I was even writings letters to editor for local newspaper (Victoria, Australia) to counter all the pro-US view.

Because of 1999 when 9/11 happened I took the view of "they had it coming". Not that I was fond of Islamic Fundamentalism either, but post-9/11 American zeitgeist of seeing Middle East as the main threat and China as an ally with flaws was quite profitable environment for China to operate in. C&C: Generals kind of predicted the future.
