There is a report the US will send 100 billion dollars to UAF and Israel.

The combined procurement budget for the us army and air force (I can't imagine them sending burkes to either so I think it will only affect ground and aerial forces) is like 40-45 billion and the US defence budget will stay the same for the next few yrs. Basically this will set the US back like 2.5 years if ALL their budget goes to restocking equipment that they will give away. If this goes through it will probably take 5+ years for the US to fill up all their munitions back to 2023 levels. This is because the US won't only be spending on restocking equipment but buying new equipment. These munitions will probably include stuff that is vital for a pacific fight like PGMs, spare parts, AD etc.

Effectively China has a few years now to take the lead over the US due to the US's aid package if it goes through. During this time the US will still be rebuilding itself from the freebies its giving the world and China will be advancing relentlessly. The US has hit a pause button on its military and China hasn't.

US politicians continue to be the greatest soldiers relentlessly marching for the PRC!
What's going on here?

X, formerly known as Twitter, will begin charging new users $1 a year to access key features including the ability to tweet and retweet

X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, will begin charging new users $1 a year to access key features including the ability to tweet, reply, quote, repost, like, bookmark, and create list, according to a source familiar with the matter. This change will go live today for new users in New Zealand and the Philippines.

Roughly 20 minutes after this story went live, X’s Support account confirmed the details, writing that “this new test was developed to bolster our already successful efforts to reduce spam, manipulation of our platform and bot activity, while balancing platform accessibility with the small fee amount. It is not a profit driver.”

X owner Elon Musk has long floated the idea of charging users $1 for the platform. During a recent livestreamed conversation with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu last month, Musk said “It’s the only way I can think of to combat vast armies of bots.”

The company published the “Not-a-Bot Terms and Conditions” today outlining its plan for a paid subscription service that gives users certain abilities on their platform, like posting content and interacting with other users. This program is different from X Premium, which offers more features like “Undo” and “Edit” for posts for $8 a month.

We all know how this is going to end up.

users.
I think Elon Musk hates Twitter with a passion and bought it in order to destroy it. No other reason why he keeps making foolish decisions like this.

Twitter will truly be X'd, if they make people pay to tweet.

Absolutely no reason to keep tweeting when you can do the same thing in Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Telegram for Free.

Biden's Jordan stop to meet with Arab leaders canceled

President Biden's planned stop in Jordan, which was to take place after his visit to Israel, has been canceled. Jordan's foreign minister said the scheduled meeting with Arab leaders has been called off.

The decision to cancel the Jordan meetings was "mutual," according to a senior administration official. Mr. Biden is still traveling to Israel for meetings that will take place Wednesday.

The White House confirmed the cancellation as the president departed Washington, D.C., for Israel, less than 24 hours after

. Mr. Biden had been scheduled to travel to Amman, Jordan, to meet with Jordan's King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

the Five Eyes heads explicitly spelled out the racist principles they believe in.

We all know the China Initiative never died at all.
"Threat of Chinese espionage come from any person of Chinese origin anywhere in the world." This must have been one of the most racist sentences in the article and I can't find it anymore. It probably has already been deleted. However, this is such a racist article, I scroll-saved the whole thing for posterity. It should be required reading for all English learners in China, especially for those who want to study in one of the 5-Eye countries. BTW, despite the increasingly intense witch-hunt, very few ethnic Chinese have actually been convicted of espionage in the 5-eye countries.

We all know how this is going to end up.

I think the slippery slope will end up with a hourly chargeo_O

In retrospect, what Yellen said was not funny, it was sociopathic. How can US really compete with China if they have such a sociopathic Secretary of the Treasury?

No doubt about it, people in Gaza will love the life of an Uyghur slave in Xinjiang.

They not only suck, they also lick. How many Chinese worship Israel like the Indians? Not that many.

The Chinese Communist Party has passed legislation to force any person of Chinese origin anywhere in the world to support their intelligence services,” he said. “It means they have a way to coerce people here in our countries to essentially tell them, to give them the secrets.”
