There is a report the US will send 100 billion dollars to UAF and Israel.

The combined procurement budget for the us army and air force (I can't imagine them sending burkes to either so I think it will only affect ground and aerial forces) is like 40-45 billion and the US defence budget will stay the same for the next few yrs. Basically this will set the US back like 2.5 years if ALL their budget goes to restocking equipment that they will give away. If this goes through it will probably take 5+ years for the US to fill up all their munitions back to 2023 levels. This is because the US won't only be spending on restocking equipment but buying new equipment. These munitions will probably include stuff that is vital for a pacific fight like PGMs, spare parts, AD etc.

Effectively China has a few years now to take the lead over the US due to the US's aid package if it goes through. During this time the US will still be rebuilding itself from the freebies its giving the world and China will be advancing relentlessly. The US has hit a pause button on its military and China hasn't.

US politicians continue to be the greatest soldiers relentlessly marching for the PRC!

[...] 2. Arrogant and unassuming, wanting to be above other classmates [...]
Aren't arrogant and unassuming contradictory characteristics?

Yes but one can still be both under different circumstances.

it's very common in strongly hierarchical societies/organisations;
- they are unassuming in front of a superior
- they are arrogant to their underlings when they are the top dog (eg. when the superior is not around)
- some are even arrogant to underlings in front of their superiors, assuming the culture supports such flexing.
- hence, wanting to above others.

There's a few choice words for behaviour like this but it would be rude to use them on an esteemed world leader.

The Chinese Communist Party has passed legislation to force any person of Chinese origin anywhere in the world to support their intelligence services,” he said. “It means they have a way to coerce people here in our countries to essentially tell them, to give them the secrets.”
What legislation are they even talking about specifically?

$100b is total funding. and most will become economic aid. than funding for enhance deployment of US forces. when you consider inflation. $100b in 2022 not the same as in 2024. so much less manufacturing impact.

The main sources of revenue for the state budget in 2024 are projected to be external borrowing of nearly UAH1.8 trillion ($49bn), tax revenues of UAH1.5 trillion, and domestic borrowing of UAH421.6bn.

Ukraine remains heavily dependent on international help to make ends meet. In 2024 Kyiv is expecting UAH1,033bn from the US government and other official creditors, UAH370bn from the EU, UAH224bn from the IMF and UAH83bn from the World Bank

Israel is in similar situation.

In retrospect, what Yellen said was not funny, it was sociopathic. How can US really compete with China if they have such a sociopathic Secretary of the Treasury?
Yellen is right. As long as the dollar is the reserve and trade currency, the US can print trillions, the dollar still appreciates, they can buy all the weapons from Europe, Korea and Japan and hurt Russia and Iran at the same time. Who cares if Europe would be disarmed? No country would attack them...

China, in theory the biggest rival power, continues to use and save dollars, and this does not seem to change. China also does not intervene in either Ukraine or Israel, so the US can easily fight two wars at once.

US's explicit desire is to destroy Russia and Iran, two countries that are getting closer to China but apparently not close enough for China to help them in a war. This is the view in the West.
