This new offensive by Hamas might actually be aimed at the Saudi Israeli talks. Whatever the Saudis might have been planning to do, any chance of a recognition of Israel is dead once they start bombing Gaza. If they stab the Palestinian resistance in the back, their own rule in Arabia will be threatened
Interesting analysis by a prominent Indian pseudo-intellectual that discussed about the Saudi-Israelis impending deal, along with the shocking system failures that allowed this attack to occur. The response from Israel will be HIGHLY DISPROPORTIONATE to mask their massive failures. The man mentioned Qatar as a possible contributor to this Hamas operation as a way to scuttle the strongly rumored peace deal with the Saudis.

Also.

Whenever China criticizes the Bhakts on something:

Bhakts: F**k Xi Jinping. Social credit system dystopia Free Hongkong we killed 20 gazillion PLA troops at Galwan.

Whenever Israelis give their true opinion about India:

Bhakts: wow we really need to improve our country. Thank you for being honest and telling us that we stink to high heaven. Only true friends do that.

Nah. Arab monarchies have an iron grip over their populace. People of Morocco, UAE and Bahrain all vehemently opposed normalization with Israel but their rulers didn't care.
Not all populations feel the same. But more importantly, Saudi Arabia is more important and the current conflict will increase sympathy with the Palestinians. So no deal in the next couple of years. I guess it will be forgotten 4 years later, they might revisit the peace deal then

He met Saturday with Chen Jining, the ruling Chinese Communist Party's chief official in Shanghai, according to a pool report, stressing the United States "does not want to decouple our economies".

He also raised the issue of Chinese firms' role in the fentanyl drug addiction crisis in the United States.

"This is not the government but this is Chinese companies," he stressed.

"They are fuelling the fentanyl crisis that is poisoning communities across the United States," he said.

Washington this week sanctioned a China-based network for producing and distributing chemicals used to make drugs -- including those fueling the deadly fentanyl crisis in America.

Beijing has said it opposes the sanctions, and insisted the opioid problem is "rooted in" the United States and not its responsibility.
