Would Indians on twitter and the commentaries have extended that level of civility to Chinese if the roles were reversed? What was their behaviour last year during the Zhengzhou floods? Indians can always choose to believe in “alternative facts” such as the Indian army massacring hundreds of PLA in Galwan and how anglos will build them up to counter China.
My only sympathy are to the Sikkimese who would have benefited from an independent government had the Indians not invaded them.
Agreed. I remembered how the Indian media, politicians, and Jai Hind crowds were gloating at China during the Covid outbreak in Wuhan in 2020. They were making fun about China's propensity to suffer from viral epidemics. They were cheering for the speculated transfer of manufacturing from China to India. They were predicting doom for China's economy and its people. And this was months before Galwan happened. Even that was the result of the Indian government drinking the China doom Kool-Aid, and tried to landgrab disputed territories from China during its time of national crisis. A national backstab of the worse kind.

So in short, the Indian government, elites, and the Jai Hinds have no human decency. They revel at the misfortunes of people they don't like. Their stupidity, arrogance, and immaturity are also a main cause for the failures of India today. That is why they deserve all the trolling that they get. We should never stoop to their level. But we must be aware of their arrogance and cruelty. Sometimes it can do damage, like what they did in 2020 at Galwan.

Apparently, western liberal democracies involve political assassinations. Truly, a model for the world. Also, they’re getting sloppy, whatever happened to suiciding someone who can shoot themselves twice in the back of the head and put themselves in a garbage bag?

Interesting comment; if Apple really was trying to bully Chinese factories to move out of China, then they deserve everything coming to them.
Government needs to intervene if that is the case. We have Huawei banned, so we have the perfect causus belli. Everything from small fines to asset seizing is on the table.

In my previous posts I've already mentioned even though Chinese state media keeps it on the down-low, China has excellent relations with the leaders of the AfD.

A Chinese summary of the german article titled "Embarrassing for Baerbock: Politicians and top officials go to the China reception".

The reception is the 2023 national day celebration in the Chinese embassy.

A snipped translated by google.
Alice Weidel is a particularly sought-after conversation partner this evening. The AfD leader has been very popular in China since her Bundestag speech on the Ukraine war, says a German-Chinese manager. All her relatives had seen the video of the speech. Weidel tells this newspaper that the “classification of China as a strategic rival was done without necessity and without any reason.” She hopes for “a relaxation of German tone”: “Now that the federal government has already cut off all contacts with Russia, the same shouldn’t happen with China as well.”
Alice Weidel is the co-leader of the AfD with Tino Chrupalla, she also received death threats recently.

Germany: AfD co-leader cancels rally for 'security reasons'

Alice Weidel of the far-right party is refraining from public appearances due to growing indications that her family would be attacked, her spokesperson said. Her rally was meant to mark Unity Day.

The AfD had invited Alice Weidel to be the keynote speaker in an event considered the highlight of the party's election campaign in

The event was to mark the important day in Mödlareuth - a German village situated partly in Bavaria and partly in Thuringia. The village used to be separated by the border which divided east and west Germany.

THE RIGHT AND FAR RIGHT

BEIJING TAMES THE HAWK: The leader of the German center-right, liberal Free Democratic Party, Christian Lindner, once

unafraid of showing solidarity with Hong Kong protesters while in opposition. Now that he’s German finance minister, Lindner is more focused on promoting Germany’s businesses in the Chinese market.
OVER TO THE FAR-RIGHT: It’s even more eye-opening.

China-cheerleader-in-chief gets top AfD ticket: The far-right party Alternative for Germany (AfD) has picked Maximilian Krah as

in next year’s EU elections. Several German media outlets then reported that people close to Krah — a vocal supporter of the Chinese Communist Party since joining the European Parliament in 2019 — have been receiving money from China.

detailed the relationship between Krah, his assistant and business activities in China. He’s denied any conflict of interest, adding that the media reports were “without any proof.”
Beijing’s poster boy: Krah has repeatedly been featured in Chinese state media. In 2021, he was featured in an

, which reported him as praising Angela Merkel‘s China policy. “I was never a fan of Angela Merkel, especially since she opened the borders for more than a million of migrants in 2015. But in her policy on China, she was smart, reliable, and consistent.” Krah went on: “Western, left-liberal NGOs” that define human rights, saying: “To overcome it, we need much more intellectual and ideological work especially from China.”

TALKING OF FAR RIGHT: Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini attended the National Day celebration hosted by the Chinese embassy in Rome last week,

reports. Apparently, Salvini invited the Chinese ambassador to lay the first stone of a planned bridge over the Messina Strait separating Sicily from the Italian mainland.

Weidel, Salvini, Orban, does anyone know the other "right wing" european political leaders who are friendly with China? The 老保联盟 often joked about in guanqi podcasts might be real ;)

We should not stoop to their level. By that I mean if we were to backstab them we will not fail.

After Taiwan and expelling of US out of Asia India will be the next on chopping block. No reason to sponsor a hostile power armed with nuclear weapon next door.

I think that Twitter account of DaiWW is a professional bullshitter.

No one will move a factory for a single client.

Suppose a company builds a single factory for one client, then the client drops them. That is why no one will build a factory abroad for a single client.

The only exception, is the TSMC plant in Arizona. However, in that case, TSMC receives money from the US government to build this plant, and will sell the output to American firms and the US military industrial complex. They get money for building the fab, and they get a guaranteed customer in the US government. Then by the time that fab is obsolete, which usually 5 to 10 years, then got to build a new one.

The business model for a fab, is entirely different than some circuit board maker. Or the assemblers, or the casing, injection molding factories, blah blah blah.

If Apple is not happy, they should get the F out. Therefore, all this talk of Apple pressuring Chinese factories to move out of China, is fake news.

It will never happen. No one in the right mind will build a duplicate factory to make the same product, when the old factory does that now.

The business of fabs, that is entirely different, as how quickly they can go obsolete.

I don't think anyone even needs to backstab India. I'm certain that India will backstab China the moment Armed Reunification happens. Western media will propagandize how Taiwan and the free world are winning, and how China is losing. The Indian government, elites, and Jai Hind will drink that China doom Kool-Aid all over again and make their move. China would have anticipated this, and then move to punish India accordingly. India, being a pretender of the Global South for the West will go down together with them.

Thats not how it works. factory exists in India. What is moving is the people. I have family friend in the industry. So far their experience was utter disappointment, low compensation, and hostile work environment. Nobody want to go there but they were pressured to. Apple demand a lot, pay very little, all they have is volume of order and they use that to push business around. Good thing Huawei is coming back and Apple can't coerce people easily anymore.
