Even educated Europeans are desparate for a Silicon Valley visa, since there's nothing to keep the EU economically relevant in the digital age. Its a culture shock to priveleged foreigners, including Chinese, who long for a life where everyday is supposedly sipping an espresso and eating a gourmet ham sandwich at a quaint sidewalk cafe. But Europeans have ambitions too and one can only admire the architecture and bikeability of European cities for so long before its time to grind like anyone else and in the EU there's simply nothing to advance your career or bring your idea to fruition.
2nd gen immigrant in Italy here, I can confirm that many chinese have returned or are considering returning home.
Economic stagnation/recession and rampant racism especially among civil servants and police forces create a horrible enviroment to live in and to raise your children.

Why Micron? Like I've said before, I don't think US politicians know what "decoupling" even means. Are they like dogs responding reflexively to certain sounds and not by words knowing what they mean? China is helping the US to decouple by banning Micron from China like they want it in general and yet they act like it's an act of war.
I know what is reflexive with Americans is doing the opposite of what others want. It tells them that they're the ones in control when they do what you don't want to happen and have you live with it. In other words it's called a rapist. Rape isn't about sex. It's about an expression of power over others doing things that you don't want to happen.
First they want to deny computer chips to China because China doesn't want that to happen. Now China is helping the US to decouple by banning Micron which the US don't like because China had the choice to do it or not. Now they want to force China to buy chips it doesn't want. Why the contradiction? It's not because the common thread is they get to deny China the right the choose. They know they're the ones in power when you just accept it and blindly do what the want without thinking. That's when they know they're in control.

It even lists the exact crew count, ranks and even the captain's name, and apparently all 55 of them died? I thought those subs have like a 100+ crew, how did the rest survive if all died from oxygen poisoning????
And why does a nuke sub have batteries that somehow ran out, doesn't it have a reactor for power???
