The Western media has some weird obsession with China's reaction to the "coup" in Russia. It's like they saw it was a surprise that China would support Putin. And why would they support the insurrectionists when the Western media was not too long ago was claiming Wagner soldiers killed Chinese in Africa? Oh, they forgot about that...
I'm sure china was well briefed about what happened between wagner and the MoD of russia.
Also strong hopium of western elites of splitting russia and china again.

Bloody morons, if they could do it, they would have done it by now. Really, these Brit’s have completely lost the ability to innovate in war, the only reason they are still around yapping is that Russia simply doesn’t feel the need to send a Sarmat to the London Bridge even though I have to admit that is does provide a somewhat funny image if the Brits are really that stupid to push them too far because most of the Global South would probably laugh at their stupidity while most of the western world would be too scared to do anything about it

Pretty sure that what China uses for anti ballistic missile work (hq-19, but afaik never received an official reveal) can already defeat even faster and more maneuverable ALBMs. Though this might be under specific conditions.

Besides Russia who is launching tons of ballistic missiles due to being at war, China is the 2nd most prolific launcher, constantly conducting publicly known exercises involving first gen hypersonic (I.e. Non HGV) interception.

So intercepting Kinzhal should "only" require early 2020s tech. Not out of reach for the west, in the very near term I expect them to have at least some form of option.

Looks like my previous twitter link which suggest Wagner guarding nuclear weapons in Belarus might be fake/unconfirmed news. Though the timing of Wagner's entry in Belarus and the nuclear weapons in Belarus is awfully coincidental though.

Does SDF still deny that Priogozen is Putin's right-hand man and he actually tried to perform a coup in Russia a few days ago?

Ukraine peace talks to begin in July – German state media

Peace negotiations on the Ukraine conflict could begin as early as next month, German state-TV channel ARD has claimed. According to the broadcaster, senior officials from a number of global powers held a meeting last week in the Danish capital Copenhagen to discuss the issue.

ARD reported on Sunday that US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was among the dignitaries present at the event. According to the broadcaster, the main objective of the gathering was to secure the support of ‘neutral’ countries such as China, India, Brazil and South Africa.

The high-ranking meeting represented a major step forward toward actual peace negotiations, ARD claimed. Citing its Brussels bureau, it added that talks could get underway as early as July.

Last Thursday, the Financial Times reported that Sullivan, along with high-ranking State Department official Victoria Nuland, would head a “diplomatic offensive” at Ukraine’s request. Their purported objective was to convince powers from the ‘Global South’ to scale back their relations with Russia.

However, the officials were not confident of succeeding, the FT claimed. The newspaper quoted an anonymous European official as acknowledging that the “rest of the world is not convinced” by the West’s stance.

Brazil, India, China and South Africa are all members of BRICS – an economic bloc that counts Russia as its fifth member. They have all refused to toe the Western line and impose sanctions on Moscow over its actions during the conflict with Ukraine.

Ukraine peace talks on Western Terms. Our offensive may have failed but the Russians must bend the knee anyway. Now we know why the US was sucking up India a couple days ago and maybe the reason for Blinken visit to China.

Even though this is a breaking news thread, remembered something and posting it.

An ancient article for reference.

I can confirm this shit is still happening today in various US companies. It's part of the reason why I decided to leave.

I know at one place, the company was in a hiring freeze and the Indian staffing agencies were strongly suggesting firing onshore workers to hire 3 offshore workers who "would be more productive for cheaper" implicitly because the offshore workers would be Indians. (It's pretty much always at best half as productive as retaining that single onshore worker.) Usually they latch onto a hiring manager who is receptive to this message (95% of the time it's an Indian manager) and then it's all downhill from there.

As I've said before, Indians get promoted to decide hiring decisions and suddenly all incoming employees/contractors are Indians.
