There's a video I saw on Reddit where the PMC WAGNER Chief met and conversed with Russian Military deputy defense minister Yevkurov and Deputy of the General Staff Alekseev. It's alleged that Prigozhin told both men of his intentions on holding the area (don't know where the meeting took place) and his March towards Moscow.
This whole saga that's unfolding in Russia, amongst Russian Military people and leaders are just embarassing as f... With this recent development, how is Russia going to be able to shake up their already mauled image of a country run by competent leadership with mature, sensible, and sober people. In which their ambitions are checked for the sake of their state/fatherland/motherland and not look like a bunch of squabbling little children complaining that they're not getting the latest toys, or not being favored by their Papa, in this case by President Putin?
How is this latest development in Russia not a setback for their objectives and goals against their own ill-conceived "Special Military Operations" What happened to the Intelligentization, Informatized doctrine that am assuming Russia Military studied and incorporated into their own military doctrine? Just when I was beginning to think that Russians have smarten up and is finally able to live up to their reputation as a military power with their supposed successful disruption of the Ukraine counter-offensive this Prigozhin wannabe Caesar happens.
Russian men, and women are being wasted on the battlefield in executing the order of their President while the other would be President is busy trying to establish his own fiefdom by killing his own Brothers-in-Arms if need be. What a sad state of affairs this is looking for Russia. Ukraine could not be more happy to watch this shit show from happening and can even use this episode for propaganda purposes and further legitimizing why UKRAINE MUST AND HAS LOOKED West/America/EU/NATO.
