I wonder how much of that money will be used for actual military development, inventory and training instead of going into the army general pocket and the government retirement fund because if China and Russia can use only a fraction of that for development and kicking the living tar out of the USA and we know for a fact that the US navy is shrinking and suffering an uptick in plane related disasters, what is the point of all that money… I mean you could print a trillion but the results coming out might has well not even bother with that spending because in the end, Erdogan still got elected despite a portion of that fund obviously going into removing him, so really US military spending sucks ass for the results they got in the end… I mean look at Ukraine, billions of dollars into Ukraine and they lost 4 territories including Bakhmut and also managed to drag their Allie’s into recession

Since this is about the third time it's posted here, I will demonstrate again that it's impossible to dislodge China from the global supply chain anymore, because in terms of international trade, China is at a more dominant position than the US post WW2.
This map is misleading even for year 2020.
Almost 80% of Mexico and Canada trade is with US. It is like exclusive benefit system among the three countries. Mexico and Canada does not trade with US thinking that this trade will benefit them in trade outside USMCA. .
ASEAN, Japan or Korea trade with China because it enhance there trade position. They are like becoming middlemen. China can reduce dependence on Korea and Japan but it will not reduce ASEAN trading with Korea and Japan.
US is dominant in Vietnam export market in 2023.
