What did you get $75 from? That aside, I'm shocked that the wages there are less than 1/3 than what am being paid now as a new apprentice technician. I honestly didn't imagine that it would be so low. Sounds like there is a lot of room for Mexican worker wage increase from American economic hard power.
it is using current exchange rate of Super Peso. USMCA agreement will make basic wages on Auto Assembly upto $144 per day.
you should look at Asia and EU to see how well Mexico has performed relative to cost of living and its enormous soft power. even Trump has become fan of Mexico.

LMAO you realize that larger working population drives down wages through competition?
more people create bigger internal market. the greater Mexico population will allow US to export excess farm produce. Mexico is preparing for this day that it can employ other people for lower wage jobs and Mexico transition to higher wages.

You don't need to be rich to be on social media. You need a phone. Africans and Indians are addicted to social media, yet there's no increase in mental health problems there.

It's to do with the broader decline in living standards and quality of life that's happening in western countries. Blaming social media is like blaming video games for school shootings.
Indians are the most adept at mental masturbation and vomiting nonsense on social media. Just coz it would be considered racist to conduct an official study of the effects of social media on a Jai Hind's brain does not mean there aren't any mental problems there.
The real issues for the Indians are obvious- unemployment, poverty, involuntary celibacy forced upon them by being either malnourished, overweight or just unable to initiate conversation with females. Couple this with one of the lowest rates for an internet connection in the world, an unhealthy dose of Indian propaganda channels parroting absurd lies/jingoistic nonsense and freely available porn and you have yourself a vulgar, uncouth, overly jingoistic, disgusting and frustrated individual suffering from the Jai Hind mental illness.

And a massive gender imbalance. People blame the One Child Policy for China's gender imbalance, but the Chinese government banned practices like sex-selective abortions - you want to see a real gender imbalance, take a look at "democratic" India.

I keep bringing this up because it has to be brought up: The primary culprits here are greedy Chinese businessmen like the owners of Xiaomi who put affordable Chinese telecommunications technology into the hands of Indians. They're the ones who unleashed this on the world and we all pay the price for their avarice.

I watched that clip on YouTube yesterday, not impressed when I was watching it, especially for an overseas Chinese peddling the Western lies about China. But banning him on Weibo seems overreacting and add to the -ve perception of China.

China really needs to up the PR game unfortunately.
Agreed 100%. Doing dumb childish petty things like these ultimately hurts the 'China' brand more than this uncle Roger ever will.
