>On the Chinese side, because of censorship and because of the Great Firewall, it’s very difficult for us to project the true sense of what our government believes in, what it’s trying to do, what Congress is doing, or what the average American is thinking about China. Google and Facebook and YouTube are not permitted to operate here. And as the American ambassador, I am not allowed to print an unedited op-ed in the People’s Daily, the way that the Chinese ambassador to the United States is welcome to print op-eds in our press. So all of us here worry that the Chinese people often aren’t able to get a true picture of who we are as a society because of all these because of all these barriers.

That was a Grade A amerimutt moment
Who the f...k wrote that above statement? is that a joke? or is that person and any Americans believing in that shit must be mentally handicapped. Are we to believe that all the American government actions, along with the U.S. congress bills designed against China would be more than welcomed by Chinese in China if they have access to the above propaganda channels that person is suggesting? So in his words Chinese people are composed of American loving sycophants that would rather see America succeed against their own interests because Chinese people hate China more than they love America? LOL

Ahh...alas, it's Nicolas Dumbo Burns. I took a peek and read the piece a little and quickly closed the link because it's nothing but gaslighting and projection on China by the most delusional idiot that passes as the American diplomat in Beijing.

Filipinos I find are too emotional and rarely if ever uses their brains to assess where they actually stand in geopolitical ladder and standing. They have swallowed the American propaganda wholly without reservation and or question which is why they are fully embracing all the American overtures to them like some cheap you know what that passport bros are known for coming in that country.
Half a millennium of Spanish imperialism favouring the most slavish and effeminate of native Filipinos bred the type of hotheaded “jai hind”-esque Filipino nationalists today, proud of their slavery to the anglos that would make South Korean President Yoon look like a Russian Putinist.

Another large US bank burst.

My mEmory’s a bit hazy but wasn’t first republic bailed out last month along with Silicon Valley bank? Why again?

Dutch court orders sperm donor to stop after 550 children

  • The man, who is accused of lying to families about the number of offspring he has fathered, faces a US$110,000 fine and other penalties for every transgression
  • Being part of a huge, unchosen ‘kinship network’ could have consequences for the children, including psychological problems around identity and fears of incest

The dude basically virgin birth 550 children.

strangely, the Dutch authorities had no issues with the Rotterdam rapes nor the proliferation Of illegal immigrants over native Dutch citizens. There’s a reason why despite its inherent racism, theories of “the great replacement“ have gained traction amongst native Europeans.
Same thing with Australia and where they get their oil:

ABC.
So basically the USG ordered its vassal in Australia to hand over its strategic petroleum reserves, which the U.S. Elites then promptly sold.
And Americans are wondering why allies are pulling a Turkey and picking and choosing what sort of relationship they will have with America eg Singapore having exercises with PLAN

Bloomberg. Wow.

Be grateful we colonized you out of the goodness of our hearts!
Anglo elites rose to power by controlling perception, history and propaganda. There’s a reason why they are currently trying to portray the Russian soviets as being in league with nazi germany.

While its generally accepted that the A10 platform is outdated for a modern battle fields with effective AA measures, but the GUA-8 fires a 30mm depleted uranium round (PGU-14/B) with 55mm-75mm of penetration, which is generally effective against the roof armor of most tanks without ERA protection. So it's not entirely correct too dismissive of the gun itself.
While I am an A-10 stan (yes, go ahead and laugh at me), it is very much irrelevant nowadays against Main Battle Tanks (MBTs). Hell, it was somewhat irrelevant even back in the '80s if the infamous "coloring book" was to be trusted (if I remember correctly, GAU-8 can only defeat a T-62 from the side at a low angle at only 4000 feet away). Any Close Air Support (CAS) against MBT nowadays pretty much has to rely on Maverick missiles. Also, GAU-8 onboard don't actually carry that much ammo -- 1174 rounds, which is actually only 1150 rounds because apparently it is a lot of extra work to pack it to the max. And from what I read somewhere (probably r/hoggit A-10 pilot AMA), that's apparently only 10-ish gun passes.

I think the reason why a certain set of people are apprehensive about retiring the A-10 is because for them, it is the symbol of Air Force's commitment to CAS. Taking the last dedicated attack plane away would mean there is nothing dedicated towards CAS, and this would give the Air Force an excuse to completely neglect CAS altogether. Is it a valid concern? I don't know.

First Republic shares plunge again as survival plan fails to materialise

California bank’s advisers have struggled to provide credible proposal to prevent receivership
Shares in First Republic plunged 49 per cent in after-hours trading on Friday as the embattled California bank prepared to end another week of turmoil without a long-term plan for its survival.
First Republic and its advisers have been working on a private-sector solution that would keep the bank from being taken over by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, according to people briefed on the matter.

But they have thus far failed to craft a proposal that can win over both the big US banks and government officials.

Troll move...

I'll bet getting an Ukrainian translator wasn't an issue, Beijing just couldn't be bothered.

Wut, didn't Zelensky spoke Russian for most of his life(as did alot of Ukrainians). Did they even communicate in Ukrainian previously? This sound like putting an overly dramatic spin for the sake of the press.
Also, it sounds like they don't have a Mandarin to Ukrainian translator either, why is it a one way effort?
