Which points in the investment deal derails transatlantic relationship? Do the investment deal mentioned kicking out US from Eurasia? No! US is not the party in the deal nor talking about them.
If they only focus on the existence of the deal itself, will it imply that a separate treaty between EU and China mentioned only "Both party agrees to use only 20 fireworks to celebrate 2021 new year" also jeopardize transatlantic relationship?

Intelligence to counter other intelligence. To say it came from intelligence is to give it credibility that it's been researched with due diligence so it must be confirmed to be true. But now other intelligence says it's not so credible. This is about as dumb as when WikiLeaks came out with all those "top secret" cables written by US diplomats people said they must be true. So when some US diplomat wrote that China was plotting this or plotting that, it must be true and China was hiding it because the US labelled it top secret. Then why was the US hiding it from their own people? It must be true because why would a US diplomat label it "top secret" if it weren't true. No need for evidence. You just have to have a politically appointed diplomat to write down on a piece of paper that China is plotting to take over the world and label it Top Secret and it automatically becomes true. It certainly saves time having to do all that work to find facts to confirm it.
It's more accurate to say that the EU just declared Independence From The Anglos/US.

China also signed the first FTA with an african country this year! I hope china can finalize its free trade agreement with the African Union by 2021. Hopefully by 2025, another FTA can be negotiated with UNASUR.

China jails 29 Taiwanese deported from Spain for fraud
BEIJING (Reuters) - A Beijing court sentenced 29 people from Taiwan who had been deported from Spain to up to 14 years in jail on Thursday for telecoms fraud, part of a series of deportations decried by Taiwan as an abuse of human rights.
In recent years, hundreds of Taiwanese suspected of telecom fraud have been deported to China, sometimes forcibly, from countries including Kenya, Cambodia and Armenia, according to Taiwan’s government.
China has defended the deportations, saying they were suspected of defrauding Chinese people and so should be tried in Chinese courts.
In the latest judgement, a Beijing court ruled that the suspects had defrauded people living in China by calling them from their base in Spain and claiming to be Chinese law enforcement officials, the court said in a statement.
A total of 14 victims were defrauded out of more than 6.17 million yuan ($941,985), it said.
