Looks like a drone strike with low-yield weapons. Most likely the Saudis, using a Chinese drones. So expect the western MSM to blame China.

Wasn't the target the Saudi delegation visiting? The people behind it was probably Houthi rebels. Looks like ballistic missile. They were probably hoping to hit the Saudis so those were very inaccurate ballistic missiles. But the rebels owning any primitive ballistic missiles is a surprise in itself. Drones would have hit the plane or VIPs with pinpoint accuracy. These may be very old Soviet short range ballistic missiles that have been sold, owned, and resold for decades on the black markets.

Didn’t know it was a Saudi delegation, in which case it might have been grad rockets or an Iranian drone strike.

A ballistic missile hit would have cause far more damage. I would not expect anyone in that video to still be on their feet if it was a ballistic missile that landed so close to them.

Could have been a smaller tactical ballistic missile. The angle it comes in at makes me think it isn't from a drone.

Depends on the warhead being carried by the ballistic missile and what if any submunitions. Definitely looks like a ballistic missile warhead with smaller conventional explosives if anything. The thing was caught on camera and was huge, coming in at such a steep angle, unlikely to be any typical HALE drone released ordinance and the Houthi rebels don't own any sophisticated modern HALE or MALE drones that I'm aware of.

4 ballistic missiles, none hit the plane though....

Not bad accuracy for ballistic missiles. I wonder if they had GPS guidance?

Unless they had terminal guidance, which seems unlikely given the fact they missed the plane, I would have thought they were aiming for the terminal building, as it would have been impossible to accurately estimate where exactly the plane would have stopped. In which case they pretty much ballseyed the target as it looks like the terminal was indeed hit.

I would say it was only down to bad luck and timing that they didn’t manage to get a lot closer to taking out their targets, as had the missiles arrived a few minutes later, the delegation would have been just getting into their convoy, which was much closer to the blast zone.

Ha! It was always Malaysia that was going to doom the project. All the delays are due to Malaysia. I wonder if Mahathir is involved, that guy is always trying to blame Singapore for everything.

No wonder Malaysia failed to reach its goal of developed nation status by 2020 (besides our friend India who failed to reach Superpower 2020). Stupid things like this. High speed rail Singapore to Kuala Lumpur is going to be such an economic boost to Malaysia, it's so easy for businessman to travel from Singapore to the Malaysian capital on a day trip to do business. Shooting themselves in the foot.
