The normalization of Riyadh-Tehran could become a vital stepping stone to formally expand BRICS by bringing both of them into the organization.
Moreover, having both rivaling power situated just across the Persian Gulf joining in the same group can also provide a great impetus for other willing countries elsewhere to join BRICS as well, i.e. Argentina, Indonesia, Egypt, Algeria etc, by showcasing that even members with vastly conflicting stances and interests are capable of co-existing within this umbrella-style international organization as well.
