South Korean FM got interviewed on US cable news and they talked about Taiwan, MFA responds:

"Taiwan question is Chinese internal matter and not an issue for discussion by any outsiders. If South Korea desires to maintain peace and prosperity on the peninsula then they will need to respect China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, follow One China principle and treat Taiwan question with caution."

Mao Ning rebuking South Korea over the Taiwan question again today. Looks like it is time for Xi to invite our old friend Kim over for a visit.

Likely , these sneaky people will pass some sketchy law prevent isp or brands with working with tiktok which isn't a ban but make tiktok usa impossible to operate. IMO, China should retaliate by doing what has happen to McDonalds in Russia. Take the store, take the supplier, and toss out the Brand/Franchise.

To be honest, China is better off just throwing out all US junk fast food chains, who have done nothing but directly cause a massive amount of obesity related health problems amongst China’s young.

Just wait till the western MSM spin TikTok as an elaborate long-con that forces America to ban it to give China the pretext to ban American junk foods.

They are majority owned by Chinese businesses (more than 50% stake), even in case of war or the US business pulling out.

They can be overtaken and continue to run under a new brand name, or sold to some domestic chain or the likes.

As for fast food and obesity, way to go is probably not to ban the chains.
