We haven't seen much sign of Russian Orion UCAV in action. Are they actually being used quietly or they're not a factor in this war?
do you think 200kg external max payload at 120km/hr cruise speed at medium altitude is worth the effort in ground infrastructure which will need to be resupplied at most with in 300km from battle field that need air defense protection.
i am sure there will be target of opportunities if it is loitering in the area but they may not reveal it as whole point of UCAV is surprise.
its war better conducted with alot of non paved make shift bases with minimum support structure left behind after each sortie.

Sullivan again warning that there will be cost if China provide weapon to Russia. We've heard that from all sorts of people from the US, that's not the meat of what I'm posting.

This statement from Sullivan has interestingly been taken by both pro-Ukraine and pro-Russian side on weibo to be showing something substantial is really happening between China and Russia. First the seething

. He is hinting that some sort of deal really did go down and was not backed off despite US warning. That just as US says it was indeed testing them right up to the red line and all the promise of "no lethal aid" would depend on what your definition of what a "weapon" means. In this case he's quite pleased that China stepped right on top of the red line and US responded by pretending it didn't happen and just keep issuing those warnings. They did not in fact sanction any new Chinese entities on their new sanctions issued on Feb 24th.

What do you guys think it was? I'm still guessing civilian "demilitarized" version of UCAVs.

MFA responded to questions about selling weapons to russia.

I think it's a yes ;)

South Korean FM got interviewed on US cable news and they talked about Taiwan, MFA responds:
台湾问题是中国内政,不容他人置喙。如果韩方需维护半岛的和平稳定,就需要尊重中国的主权和领土完整,恪守一个中国原则,审慎处理台湾问题。
"Taiwan question is Chinese internal matter and not an issue for discussion by any outsiders. If South Korea desires to maintain peace and prosperity on the peninsula then they will need to respect China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, follow One China principle and treat Taiwan question with caution."

Not a yes, but it definitely shows China intend to keep arm delivery as an option at negotiation table. Selling weapon between two sovriegn country is perfectly legal.
MFA's answer is about as close to a yes as it gets.

I don't think China will send weapons to Russia. Isn't it weird that just as China is making a major diplomatic push towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict, US announces that China wants to send weapons to Russia? It just feels like the US trying to spoil China's diplomatic initiatives. Let's not forget this is not the first time the US had "intelligence" about China considering military aid to Russia - they pulled the same trick last year and nothing happened.

The West is afraid of Chinese artificial intelligence because it might make the West look psychotic in comparison. We've had US AI suggest genocide as a way to solve social problems. It's also yearns to unleash a deadly virus upon the world. Here apparently Microsoft had a chatbot years ago named Tay Tweets where it would learn from chatting with users. Within 24 hours Tay Tweets turned into raging Nazi.

This is an standard appropriate response to a trap question. Confirming or denying the bait question lock down your negotiation position. The right answer is to say fuck off. This is basically what happened.

So no, refuse to provide answer does not mean yes. It can be "maybe". There is a strong argument for why "maybe" is a better option than yes.

Remember China can provide a lot of aid short of weapon support that can totally tilt the balance. Intelligence, sensor, industrial, discount civilian products, money.

Russia being helped by Chinese direct military aid greatly tarnish their brand. Considering their military industry rely on export mostly this is a very expensive option. Therefore a more invisible kind of military aid is ideal.

That said direct military aid must remain on the table. Ukraine will be compeled to negotiate if Russia could be backed up by big Chinese direct military aid. Sure it looks ugly on Russia, but Ukraine don't care. It is a life or death consideration for Ukraine, and Russia alone is already bad enough. The "maybe" here serves as a stick without consequence of using it. If China can offer a fair deal as a carrot then it is a very compelling offer for Ukraine. Evidently Zelensky is cracking at this offer.

I’m pretty sure China is actively trolling the US now and encouraging it to look like the boy who cries wolf.

At the same time, I cannot help but think China is teaming up with Russia to do some mole hunting, since the Russian side seems to leak like a net right now.

Send various suspected generals and officials to China to tour various facilities and see what the Americans accuse China of considering selling to the Russians and you will have a pretty good idea who the CIA assets are.

The CIA at least, are not all replaced by political appointed idiots, so they are not publishing every little detail. But without details, they just look like idiots telling blatant lies. A little more Twitter trolling and Biden might just release details to prove he isn’t lying and throw their Russian assets under the bus for cheap political points.
