Regardless of where you stand on the issue it is really dumb for Scomo to call out the post on Twitter. If I am not mistaken most people have already forgotten about the Australian military atrocities. Now he just brought them back into the spotlight. Way to go.

Well, this was not criticism.
This was a vehement bitter political attack by the Chinese Communist Party against white Australia, and playing the race too.
That's why it is so funny.

The reason why it's so effective is because they can't think of a comeback. They got nothing on China.

Australia itself in its nature cannot accept a strong and dominant Asian power like China nearby. Australia was formed out of white-European domination of the seas in the 1800s which allowed white-european colonizers to settle and then subjugate the natives in Australia. From the very beginning they have never seen anything other than a European-white dominated world. That is their very core of being.
Which country will be the most white Supremacist and anti-China over the long term? Australia. By the very fact that it is in Asia and has to contend with the most potency of Asian power means that they feel the most threatened by Asian power. So, they will resort to even more radicalism and white supremacy. Its very similar to how apartheid in South Africa was the most radically racist since it was ruling a black majority country with a much smaller white minority.
I think over the long term Australia is bound to become the biggest enemy of China in its neighborhood. Even Japan and South Korea will eventually accept Chinese domination and supremacy in Asia and eventually will stop US alliance completely. But australia due to its race, western culture and the very foundation as a white-colonizer country will never accept Chinese supremacy over East-South East Asia.
So, what will China do to this long term permanent threat in its backyard?
When China becomes strong enough and kicks US out of Asia, we will see a very hostile and radical Australia. Eventually China will have to accept that it cannot co-exist with Australia and must take it over. In fact, that will not be the end. I predict China will eventually kick out all the white population in Australia to make it a Asian settled country with most likely ethnic Chinese majority aka Singapore.
Just like many white colonizer who eventually left Africa and South Asia after decolonization, Asians will never accept the colonizers in Australia and when they become strong enough, they will kick them out.
