I dont know how they did the ranking of efficiency but any railway network whose foundation is German engineering will ultimately become unreliable and expensive to maintain. it is just matter of time.

Tbh Myanmar is unhinged with their border attacks, they have done it to China as well. Through they had to do a lot to deescalate the situation afterwards.
They likely have ww2 era ISR and communication, probably much of their troops can't even tell where the fuck they are unless they're locals and know the landmarks. Apparently China itself has never put PLA on the border despite this incident, and they believe Myanmar to be harmless.
The west has been trying so hard to destabilize Myanmar to cripple China, it would be hilarious if their plan crippled India instead

The US government is not stupid. The blast reportedly happened when a Chinese delegation was meeting the Taliban counterparts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

China needs to step up security cooperation with Pakistan and Afghanistan in anti-terrorism operations across both countries. Chinese PMCs such as the Frontier Service Group should also expand and upgrade their overseas operations, especially in countries and regions with worrying/alarming security developments.
