China's President Xi Jinping is expected to visit Saudi Arabia in the near future, the kingdom's Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, said on Thursday.

The main thing Musk is going to do is to tie a payment system into Twitter ala Alipay. The closest thing in the west I can think of is Paypal.

A long time ago the trendy way to make money in China was to clone an overseas internet platform within the GFW and put a slightly Chinese spin on it. Now the internet ecosystem has advanced to such a degree that you could do the same in reverse and make money.

uuhm so you have Peter Thiel and Musk split up after paypal. Where one goes on to create Palantir a Big data processing service and the other goes on to create electric vehicles and satellites that can generate big data amount that needs to be analysed. You would almost think these two services processing and data generation might fuse at some NSA headquarter somewhere.
