Reddit melting down right now calling for an invasion of Saudi Arabia and Iran, to seize their oil wells.

Meanwhile US politicians calling to completely cut off Saudi Arabia from aviation and probably other critical markets.

China in the corner hearing nothing but the cash register, lol: getting cheap oil and gas from Russia and having a possible captive market for the C919 in Saudi Arabia.
The guy in my profile picture is having an autistic meltdown right now.

Meanwhile, over in Canada. They have taken a step in killing the credit card. One big members of the telecom monopoly Telus is already charging it. 1 step forward. 50 steps backward. Funny how “cash back cards” just virtually become worthless overnight and prices with that fee baked in won’t change either.

Canadian businesses will now be able to charge you their side of credit card fees

If you shop using your credit card frequently, you might want to reconsider. Soon, businesses will be able to make you pay an additional fee.

When you pay via credit card, you and the business you’re paying are both charged a processing fee.

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) has announced that beginning Thursday, October 6, it will be up to merchants to decide if they want to transfer their side of the processing fee to the shopper.

Edit: Suddenly people calling for a massive increase in renewable energy like solar panels.
Hey, just out of curiosity, who's the largest solar panel manufacturer in the world? Where are they based?

Edit2: Oh my god suddenly everyone going around getting ready to buy electric vehicles and calling for a massive switch to EVs. Hey, who's the world leader in EVs?

Whatever happen to the US being oil independent? Thought they had all the fracking frackers?

Intresting meltdown piece from cnn:
"Some of the draft talking points circulated by the White House to the Treasury Department on Monday that were obtained by CNN framed the prospect of a production cut as a “total disaster” and warned that it could be taken as a “hostile act.”
